In 10 minutes’ drive, you can reach the South of the island, where you can catch a boat to Clare and Inisturk islands. Ballycroy National Park is just 30 minutes’ drive from the cottages. Quiet, convenient and very private situation. It’s only about 10 mins walk along the Greenway to Achill Sounds which has a pub, butcher, supermarket, tourist info, takeaway and other shops and eateries. The cottages were thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable family holiday. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and in good decor. The hosts live on site and make themselves available to help with your every need. On one occasion we had to ask a favour, over and above what was required, and they responded to without any hesitation. All correspondence prior to arrival was efficient and clear. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

I stayed with a group of college friends in Achill Cottages during July and we had a wonderful time. Stephen was a most gracious host and couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming. I look forward to staying there again. A gem.
