The Bay

Good service, but the bar is right outside the rooms, and people are noisy until late at night. The hotel staff were completely unresponsive when I asked them - at 11oclovk at night! - if they could ask thief guests to be more quiet. Won’t stay there again! Not a good experience. Plus, if you park in the road outside, the locals will slash your tires. 2 of them , to make sure you are completely stationary

The hotel was great with a fabuleus view from the restaurant and private beach. Hotel staff was great very helpful and kind! Great housekeeping and reception! The food in the hotels restaurant is amazing! The location on the island was perfect. Would recommend this hotel!

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at! We enjoyed it so much. Lovely service, wonderful room, amazing views, and great food. I recommend booking an ocean view room. The view is just stunning! We had the nicest sunsets. Only downside was no elevator, so luggage was to be carried upstairs. However, the option to use the hotel facilities until going to the airport and offering a shower room to get ready made more than up for this inconvenience.

The staff Emilia at the reception was so rude, has no communication skills and only wants to attack, staff at the restaurant were not flexible at all and always forget to take orders, th breakfast was fine but the eggs were either smelly or not cooked properly! The hotel views are nice but the staff can ruin your whole experience

I had an excellent stay in THE BAY, shared between moments of teleworking and vacation. The staff were attentive and really friendly, flexible and accommodating. We were very well received, simple check-in and check-out. Both the room and the hotel were clean and faithful to the descriptions, value for money, which seems to me to be the main thing. The restaurant is great, the food is local and fresh. Also breakfast lived up to expectations. Thank you again to everyone for these good times and we look forward to coming back.

We stayed at The Bay for 5 nights, having spent 5 nights on the East Coast. Emilie, on reception and the rest of the team, were very helpful and spoke excellent English. We asked for a standard room and were happy with this, although we would have preferred a sea view in hindsight. Our room did have outdoor seating but with a view of the air con units and a fence. The food was good. The pool lounger area always seemed to have available loungers, but we noticed the beach loungers had towels left on them every day by 2 couples fir some time whilst they did other things, which was not acceptable! Our only negative point was that although smoking was not permitted in the restaurant area, smoke drifted from smokers sitting next to that area. So no matter where you sat, you had smoke in your face. The snorkelling and swimming with dolphins was brilliant, although more time snorkelling and less eating/ browsing the market eould have been better in our minds. We ate at Happy Raga Indian restaurant, which was about 20 min walk away, which was great! Also, at Flavours- across the main road, about 10 mins away. We used a supermarket to get beer, and this was very reasonably priced. All in all, we had a lovely stay and would recommend for a no frills, comfortable stay with friendly staff. A special mention to Sabine who always had a smile in the restaurant and Dorian.
