Stayed at executive suite but on entering found run down. As advised by staff, verandah door was not to be opened as monkeys would come. A grill would solve this while allowing guests to enjoy the sit out and cool breeze. Full time the doors to verandah were to be kept closed. They offer all meals plan and meals are mediocre especially breakfast. Presentation is super poor as if we were having food in mass food event. The dining area is a big hall with tables and plastic moulded chairs. The very same hall has some.torn sofas and stacks of plastic chairs, all these in dining area! No dental kit even in suite category room. The nighttime would be a disco like program with loud noise across the entire property. The property is vast with huge trees and great plantation making it a perfect place to enjoy if proper sit outs are made. Lift works on generator but the airconditioners in rooms don't! On inquiring as to why no housekeeping was done, the reply was that I must not have told for it. Does it require to be told for housekeeping in a suite category room? The staff is nice and courteous. However overzealous efforts on cost cutting makes this super property mediocre.

Usha Ascots, property is located 10 minutes from market. property is very good. the rooms was spacious. we booked family room suit. which can accomodate 6 persons. Food was good. and the staff is also cooperative. we enjoyed our stay. will plan such outing more often.......

My husband and me stayed here in December. It has always been our favourite place in Matheran. Because of the following reasons: 1. tasty food. They even make non spicy on request. 2. comfortable rooms. 3. good service. 4. very entertaining evenings by the pool with live singing of bollywood songs. the singer is very nice. 5. housie by the pool. 6. puppet show and magic show. Overall a very pleasant stay
