20 minute walk away from the main market and the railway station, which makes the walk from Dasturi Naka about an hour and a half long (5 km). Do wear sturdy shoes and do not carry too much of luggage although porters are readily available. You can also ride a horse or take a rickshaw pulled by men.

Each room is named after either the famous Parsi people of Matheran or a freedom fighter; all the rooms are beautifully appointed with antique furniture. Each one has a living room, fruit basket (on request), complimentary tea/coffee maker and two bottles of mineral water. An iron & ironing board is also available on request, while sofa unit and dining table is common for all guests.
