In & Out Matera

The location is excellent being only about a 3 minute walk to the entrance of the old city and less than 10 minute walk to multiple great restaurants, some being much less than that. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and comfortable with great water pressure in the shower. And the host Mariella, is the kindest, nicest person who really cares about her property and her guest’s experience. She gave us a choice for what type of breakfast we wanted and when we wanted it, and it was excellent. This is the place to stay in Matera.

Taking advantage of the airport shuttle option that In&Out offer, it was about 50 minutes from Bari Airport to In&Out in Matera. Mariella greeted us on arrival and showed us to our room which was modern, spotlessly clean and on the ground floor, so no stairs to contend with. The room was quite spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom had everything you might need including a very good shower. There were also plenty of towels. Right next to our room was a small breakfast area where Mariella greeted us in the morning with fresh coffee and a selection of continental breakfast items and she even asked if there was anything special we would like for breakfast. She goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble for her. I speak very little Italian & she speaks little English but with the help of a translation app - we got along very well. There is a bakery a few doors away and a restaurant although we didn't try it. Altra Pizza which has no.1 spot on TripAdvisor is just a street away which came in very handy when it was raining heavily and we didn't want to walk far. There is also a small supermarket a little further up the road. In&Out is just a short walk from the town with its restaurants, shops and 'the Sassi'. On leaving Matera we were spending a few days in Bari before flying home and took the opportunity to use the In&Out transfer option again. Mariella made our transfer back to Bari very easy, once again going the extra mile for us. We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay there again if we are ever fortunate enough to return to Matera

Mariella is a perfect host. Moved her car so we could park right outside. B & B just a few minutes walk to Sassi. Rooms clean and modern. Lovely breakfast each morning. Google translate was our friend!! Would highly recommend 5*.

Esperienza bellissima la sig. Mariella ci ha accolto con grande disponibilità e cortesia , la struttura pulita, tranquilla, e con tutti i confort , colazione deliziosa con torte fatte in casa . Posizione ideale per visitare i sassi di Matera,e a pochi minuti dal bellissimo centro di Matera , possibilita di parcheggiare davanti al B&b. da consigliare

Eccellente B&B gestito con estrema cura ed attenzione ai particolari dalla proprietaria, persona gentilissima e disponibile. Colazione ottima e camera fantastica con letto comodissimo e a due passi dai Sassi, puoi dimenticare l'auto. Consigliatissimo

Ambiente accogliente, pulito e molto bello. La padrona è disponibile e gentile. Ottimi i materassi e questo non è da sottovalutare quando andiamo in vacanza. L'ambiente è molto caratteristico e ricordano la pietra naturale di Matera. Consigliato!
