Mirador Maspalomas by Dunas

The entertainment was amazing specifically Julio and Alyson were my favourite. Very welcoming and always had a good mood and even made me a morning person. The bar staff and restaurant workers were very welcoming and very patient with everyone.

Hotel is in a bit of a remote area so you do have to taxi or bus to other areas our room overlooked the dual carriage way and aldi Food was quite good to be fair entertainment was very average it's a typical 3 star Spanish all inclusive busy in dining room at all times we had to bring cleaner in half way through holiday as it was not very clean but once they had cone in it was clean after that it's a nice hotel and some people have been several times before ..but it just wasn't for us ...I personally felt aggitated rooms are basic but adequate..no drawers tin tables ...basic but ok We wouldn't personally return to this hotel

Amazing place to stay and a shout out to the staff: Andrew very polite, Julio very funny, Alyson explosive girl, Aida profesional dance. They are amazing staff ❤️ always makes it a good holiday with staff that are friendly and get involved :) and all other staff have been brilliant with anythjng we needed.

Second time here. Good food, great drinks, nice vibe and fun entertainment group. Big shout out to Andrew, Alyson and Julio for being kind and making everyday fun! A lot of different activities for adults and children. There are also two big swimming pools. Staff is really nice and helpful. I definitely recommend to visit this resort.

Stayed here for 10 Days from 10-20th September 2024, we were in room c304 as we had a pool view we had a portable aircon which had to be on 24/7 as room was boiling. Below our room was the smoking area which stunk with having to have the sliding door open of a night for the aircon filter Rooms Are outdated definitely need a refurbishment & proper air con in the rooms. Sunbeds There was the same few ****** making a dash for the beds as soon as the barrier was off. But there’s plenty to go around. Entertainment Was average, the animation team make more off an effort during the day. Better off going the Yumbo centre, for a decent show Food Very repetitive, of a lunch / dinner time, need to invest in something to keep the food hot, otherwise it’s lukewarm. Best food is in the Asian restaurant outside the hotel amazing selection of hot delicious. Wi-Fi Poor signal in rooms, unless your in reception.

Sadly now home after a lovely time spent at the Mirador Hotel, can't recommend this Hotel enough lovely room thatvwas cleaned ever day, lovely people always smileing and very helpful, plenty on offer in the Restaurant, sun beds no need to panic we always found two, the pool was good with water sports and good laughs, evening Entertainment goid and entertaining i could go on but I'm sure you won't be Disappointed ✈️✈️

Our family spent the best 2 weeks here at the end of August. Here are just a few of my reviews, I could probably go on about this place for 100+ pages. After reading some of the reviews (and watching some Facebook videos!) I was a little worried about the sunbed situation, there was absolutely no need to be worried. We got a bed each day and at no point did we spend longer than 5 minutes queuing for them. The food was lovely, breakfast was great with loads of options, lunch was fab (both at the snack bar if you fancied something light and in the main restaurant), again, plenty of choice. Dinner was brilliant, always fresh meats cooking and each night had a different theme. The entertainment team work tirelessly every day (except Tuesday, their day off). A huge special shout out to Chrstina who we all loved. She knew each child by name and actively encouraged all children to join in at kids club and the mini disco. The reception staff, cleaners and maintenance staff are all super friendly and will always say hello and are happy to help with anything. The bar staff were brilliant, big shout out to Felix who quickly became my husbands best friend :) And lastly, the whole management team were lovely. They are there morning and night making sure the whole operation is running as smoothly as possible and if you go to them with any issues they resolve them as quickly as they can. There is always a member of management waiting to welcome you to the restaurant morning and night which I think is a lovely touch. Even the kids looked forward to high-fiving 'Mr Manager'. A special mention to Bea for arranging my birthday table for me. We usually never want to return to the same hotel as we like to try out new places but I would happily go back here tomorrow. Already looking at making another booking for next year Thank you to EVERYONE at Mirador from the Walmsley family, see you next year!

Disappointed! Having stayed with the Dunas group before and reading the hotel reviews it looked like a no brainier! The images used to promote the hotel are long outdated much as the hotel itself is tired and in need of an update. On arrival late Sunday we arrived to what looked like an aftermath of a party, and the smell of sick!! The pool area is very dirty and it appears only the food court floor ever gets cleaned. Queuing at 8:40 in the morning for beds. Kids pool looked murky and the ship was out of order. The rooms are ok and the towels are charged regularly unlike the bedding which wasn’t changed for our entire 10 day stay (same hole in sheet). No AC in the room just a noisy ceiling fan. Night time noise levels are crazy, with kids and parents shouting and running up and down the corridors and no one knows how to close a door quietly!!! Restaurant standards appear high with the staff constantly cleaning and wiping down surfaces. Plenty of choice, however I did have three separate occasions where the fresh cooked meat was raw. The hotel is situated at the top of a very steep hill, with very little around it. One recommended for food drink is the Love & Hate bar just on the outside of the complex. Positives: Genuinely struggling to find any. Negatives: All of the above The reps and the local pharmacy are all very aware of the hotel’s reputation, in my opinion it’s worth a miss.

We are on our last day here, stayed for 1 week, everything has been wonderful, staff friendly, everywhere is spotlessly clean, food amazing, drinks plentiful, pool large & spacious, always got a sunbed, trick is to come about 10 past 9, after the crazy ones have finished their mental behaviour Special thanks to Dani on reception, he stands out as the most helpful member of staff at this hotel, such a friendly helpful man, hope he gets a huge pay rise, he definitely deserves one Xx
