Enjoy one of our single rooms which include all of the standard amenities plus a recliner and additional living space. Breakfast hours are weekdays 5am-9am. The city comes alive during the first weekend in February as the annual Buddy Holly Memorial weekend gets underway. Make your reservations early for this popular event. Events are held at the famous Surf Ballroom the last place Buddy Holly the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens played to a packed house.Our staff is always ready to handle your hotel travel needs. This property is located right off the highway which is easy to get to when arriving late. The noise of the highway is a bit much but expected. Hotel check in staff was not friendly and didn't seem happy when I booked through a third party while standing in the lobby because the rate was better than what he would offer me. The breakfast area was dirty and not very well stocked. We would have preferred to take the next exit off in Clear Lake so that we were closer to restaurants but didn't realize that when we arrived. The room was very dated and needs an upgrade.

There was literally garbage all over the property. The snow hadn’t been cleared since it snowed 3 days ago. Couch and comforter are both covered with stains.

It's older. It was the quietest place we stayed at. Could use a new paint. Just needs a refresh.

The room could use some renovations and I could hear through the door / wall easily, but it was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

The room itself was clean and adequate. However, the none of the outside lights was on - or not working - and it was so dark that I couldn't even find the place to begin with. Once I did know it was there, it was still hard to see the driveway, etc. in the dark.

It was convenient and close to where we needed to be. Reasonable rates for a quick overnight stay

We got in late. The room was very musty smelling. And the bathroom smelled strongly of smoke. The bathroom walls were not clean and you could see where someone had tossed something in the garbage and it had splashed on the wall. Overall it wasn’t terrible but I would chose some place else before staying here again.
