The Hotel is pretty much the only game in town and we were there for a concert on site, and a stay that night. The room was clean, king bed, nice view (although screens and windows were filthy) had a coffee maker, several coffee pods, sugar (no cream) and 2 cups. The bathroom was clean and adequate, no glass for water, basic necessities, 2 towels, 2 wash cloths. Never saw anyone at check in (or front desk) as staff were all buzzing around getting ready for the show, but self check in worked a charm. The music venue, is....OK. The sound was not that great from where we sat near the back of the room. Anyone sitting to either side had obstructed views due to the speakers, which is very unfortunate (Never did see the guitar player, or the drummer....lol). Since the owner is a musician, I really expected better in this department. The Restaurant, (only outside was open). The food was....meh. Again, they claim a 2 star Micheline chef, so we expected way better. We had both lunch and dinner. Burger tasted exactly like Harveys, since it's a $20 burger, that's not a good thing, plus it was suppose to come with salad, but they were apparently either out, or it was a mistake on the menu, the waiter wasn't sure. Fish and chips were ok, but no idea what the fish was, as when we asked the waiter, he told us he had a bad memory and it was some local white fish, the fries, frozen. Dinner was busy due to the show, we both had the 1/2 chicken (one chimichuri, the other honey garlic) with arugula salad, and roasted veggies. We both got the wrong sauce and never did get the right one. Salad and veggies were best part of the meal. All in all, glad we went, we had never visited the island, but the only reason I could ever see going back would have been for another show, but that is doubtful as the venue just didn't cut it for us.
