Charming property with outstanding service. Clean rooms and common areas. Gorgeous, serene garden with firepit and lots of seating to relax. Comfy beds, pillows and robes. Fantastic location, walkable to waterfront, bike rentals, shops and restaurants.

This was the worst, most over-priced, most inconvenient hotel stay in my 25 years of business and leisure travel. The Lark group has gobbled up hotels on the vineyard and increased the prices for shoebox rooms. We basically have a room in the lobby and adjacent to the courtyard entrance. Zero privacy and zero space for just $650+. Oh parking costs $50 more. I would avoid all Lark properties … they are comical.

What a wonderful place and the location was perfection! We thought we might be a bit far away from the water, but, first, it's a quick walk, and second, we loved being exactly where we were with its beautiful garden and fire pit, near the shops but not in the (sort of) mayhem. The interior was clearly recently redone, and it is modern but still absolutely charming. Also, sitting on the front porch watching Main St. is wonderful as well. The "light breakfast" is so good with interesting delicious things that satisfied health fanatic me and my husband who just wants tasty food. Carter and Mia at the front the desk made our stay even better. Also, there are people cleaning and tidying everywhere - very detailed and it shows, because the grounds and interior are in perfect condition; We cannot wait to go back again - we will do so every year when we join family who is on a boat there in the summer.

The staff is fantastic. They greeted us with a warm welcome and were very friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed for a great visit. The room was clean and well equipped but was a bit on the small size. We found the bed and pillows were softer than what we find at other hotels and thus a bit uncomfortable for us. Rooms at the front of the hotel are only 20 feet from the Main street where car and foot traffic is nearly constant in the evening, so it can be a bit noisy.
We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and found a nice card from the hotel staff and bottle of champaign in our room when we arrived. We though it was a nice touch until we arrived home to learn our children had arrange for that. Unfortunately the hotel took credit for it and never mentioned who it was actually from. Not cool.
The close proximity to shopping, dinning, and bike rentals is what really makes this hotel so desirable. It's also part of the residential area, which makes for a nice casual stroll through the neighborhood any time of day.

What a lovely luxury hotel. The location is right next to town, the bus station and many of the attractions in Edgartown. We stated in the Lark sweat and it was very nice. It contains two bedrooms, a deck and 1 and 1 1/2 baths. I also believe the couch was a sofa sleeper adding additional beds if needed. The staff were all helpful and offered us excellent service. The little breakfast in the morning, and cookies later in the day were a nice touch. I would stay again.

The Hotel was very modern with the most comfortable bed and pillows, the overall decor was well done. The bonus was a free upgrade that included a lounging patio deck. The grounds are very nicely kept with a beautiful outdoor seating and fire decor.
Evening cookies and morning breakfast was a bonus. The location is on point right on the Main Street. I definitely recommend it.

What a find, the historic home that’s now an inn, has a great front porch, lovely back yard, updated & clean rooms. The host was very responsive & met all our needs during our stay. Ohh and breakfast was delicious too! We’ll definitely return.
