Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Marshall

We had to add two days to our week-long stay. There was confusion at the desk as to what should be charged; and room was not as pictured above. Ours was dark and poorly styled, e.g. tears in curtain and dark, depressing colors and decor. We were placed in a second-floor corner next to the garbage dump with a social club right below our room. We are seniors and would have appreciated a first floor room away from partners and the noise of garbage trucks at 4 AM. Metal staircases had been painted over with metal paint that was seriously peeling. On the other hand, the location was excellent. We were right off the highway so access was easy. The Italian restaurant backing the property was incredible. We should’ve eaten there every night. One could walk to Waffle House if so, inclined, but there are other restaurants nearby that offered the very best of cuisine. And many members of the staff were very professional and helpful. despite the very reasonable price, we probably would not stay here again unless we could get more amenable accommodations. this hotel really needs an upgrade to make it worthy of the name and reputation of Wyndham.

Overall Good Stay We had an overall good stay. Clorox was a bit strong in the bathroom. The occupant in the next room tv was a bit loud from 3 to 6 am one night. Front desk personnel were very courteous and helpful!

Check in was easy. Convenient location. Everything was kind out outdated but doable for a one night stay. Cleanliness wasn’t great but it wasn’t absolutely terrible either.

The adjacent room was the meeting room and the hinges of that door was covered in blue tape from the top to the bottom. Soap bars were insanely small. Overall experience was OK.

Bed was comfortable. Floors were dirty in the room and in the office. Water pressure in the shower was good and water was hot!

Trash from previous guest still in room. Continental breakfast was a joke. Prepackaged pastries were stale. No juice. Little coffee.
