Set in the quiet fishing village of Marsaxlokk, Duncan Guest house is 15 minutes' drive from Malta International Airport. It offers self-catering rooms with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
Each room features a small kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and kettle. You will also find an LCD TV with cable channels and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony with sea views.
An English breakfast is available on request, as well as gluten-free options. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and offers a range of cuisine from Mediterranean to pizza and English. Arabic dishes are available on request.
Duncan Guest house provides free parking and a free washing machine on the terrace. It is 20 minutes' drive from Valletta, the capital of Malta.

We last visited this place thirteen years ago, and Michael has really worked wonders with the place. It was quaint back then, but now it has a lovely breakfast room and sun terrace. We arrived late, but everything was ready on our arrival. Michael is a very good host, with an amazingly gentle and welcoming personality. He made our stay so relaxing. The breakfast was continental style, but the food was very well prepared, Michael would also make bacon and eggs if you fancied it. The room was very spacious and always clean too. The shower room was modern and invigorating. It was also a good size. Overall, it was a fantastic base for our respite break. We are coming back, and I would recommend this place for a stay.

This is a great guest house, which is family owned/run for over 100 years. The owner/administrator Michael, helped and communicated well with me throughout this whole process. . We only stayed for one night, but Michael made it very convenient for us. First, while still away from the vacation. He reassured that I will be OK to check in even though it’s after midnight since the flight will arrive around midnight. He arrange for a pick up for us at a reasonable price from the airport to the guesthouse. The place is clean with basic essentials. They had a great breakfast of homemade breakfast, with eggs cooked to your liking. There is a nice rooftop just around the corner from the breakfast area where you can see the port area. When we went it was the Sunday fish market day so obviously it was a very busy day. Michael also gave us a great recommendation for a nearby restaurants. He also told us the best way to go to the Saint peter‘s. This is such a nice place to stay right in the center of Marsaxxlokk fishing village area.

We recently stayed at the Duncan Guesthouse , a family-run hotel, and had a great experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, creating a comfortable and hygienic environment. The room was a perfect size for two. The warm welcome and accommodating nature of Michael the owner and the staff made us feel valued throughout our stay. Being a family-run establishment, the personal touch was evident in every aspect. Michael speaks several languages, which makes communication very easy. I highly recommend this hotel for its warm hospitality, flexibility, and cleanliness. It's perfect if you want to spend sometime in a small fisherman’s town. Thank you to Michael and the entire team for their outstanding service and commitment to guest satisfaction.

€15 taxi ride from airport. Easy to find. Right in the square. Lovely welcome from Michael and team. Beautiful room, large and clean, comfy bed. Freshly cooked, delicious breakfast. Chemist, Spar and bus stops close by. Easy bus to Valletta and beyond €2. Daytime market. Lots of restaurants to chose from.

We had a wonderful 4 days staying at the Duncan. Michael the owner of the guest house was very attentive and everything was perfect from the room to the breakfasts, We ate in the restaurant below which belongs to Michael's brother and the service and choice of menu was excellent.. Can highly recommend both the guest house and the restaurant...

Spent 3 nights at this little gem. Balcony view over harbour. Room and facilities absolutely spotless. Very comfortable with tea coffee making facilities and small fridge. Tastefully decorated. Michael the owner could be more hospitable he goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. Cooked breakfast in morning lovely and fresh fruit salad delicious. Everything you need to start the day. His staff were very pleasant too. Quiet and relaxing place. Only one point. A few hooks in bathroom would be beneficial or in room. Will definitely be back. Wishing Michael all the best in his plans for the future with the breakfast terrace.

Duncan Guest House sits in a prime position overlooking the village square and harbour of the picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Our room (number one) was huge in size with a very comfortable super king size bed. Our balcony overlooked the square and the harbour and was a great place for people watching and just chilling out. The bathroom was large with wash basin, toilet and very large walk-in shower. The large overhead shower head provided copious amounts of hot water and is supplemented by a had held spray head. The room has a comfortable two seater settee, a desk a chair. There is a double wardrobe with shelves, a refrigerator with small ice box and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is taken in a dedicated breakfast room. A cooked breakfast is supplied to order and was excellent. Fresh fruit salad yoghurts and pastries are also included. Michael the proprietor us a lovely helpful man and is ably assisted by Mary. Just looking at the room and breakfast they are equal to many five star hotels I have stayed in. Hourly busses run from the airport at a cost of 2 euro per person and take about 35 minutes. Highly recommended we have already booked the same week and room next year

L’hôtel est simple mais très propre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et soignées. La salle de bain très fonctionnelle et le personnel est très prévenant. Hôtel à recommander pour un séjour dans l’île et plus particulièrement à Marsaxlokk, village de prêcheurs très Pittoresque et Mon endroit préféré à Malte. Je passerai sur les Travaux dans les Rues car les ouvriers commencent tôt du fait de la chaleur et le bruit peut être Incommodant. Mais nous avons beaucoup aimé ce lieu. Bravo au directeur pour tenir cet hôtel avec autant de soin.

Situé à Marsaxlokk, petit port bien tranquille. Accueil fort sympathique chez Duncan’s House, attentionné à nos demandes, serviable. Personnel agréable également. Les chambres sont grandes et très propres. Beau choix. Merci beaucoup.
