La Reggia Seaview Guesthouse

Excellent location in this idyllic fishing village. Breakfast was wonderful served alfresco. Room was large with balcony looking out onto the sea. Recommendations given for local restaurants. Very easy area to walk around and explore. Would definitely stay here again

Absolutely amazing place, right on the promenade, a small guesthouse in a renovated Maltese building, new furniture, immaculately clean, excellent breakfast on the roof terrace with a fantastic view of the sea and all the lovely boats. The owner, Russell, is very friendly and picked us up at the airport, even in the middle of the night.

Great location, comfy bed and super clean. There is no manned lobby, but the check-in is quick once you call via the door bell. We had the only room on the third floor with no view, but did have access to a beautiful terrace that has a great view of the bay. This is the same terrace where breakfast is serviced. The property has an elevator and the access is easy from the street. The only negative is that breakfast is served 8:30 - 10:30 am, which was late for us having an early flight and can see that most travelers would line up at 8:30am to take advantage of the day.

We absolutely fell in love with La Reggia Seaview Guesthouse and I’m positive you will too. This is definitely a hidden gem that offers a great blend of luxury, comfort, and breathtaking sea views. Run by the fantastic Russel, this boutique guesthouse was the tranquil retreat we so needed. The room was amazing and came equipped with a stunning terrace overlooking the Mediterranean! La Reggia Seaview Guesthouse was truly a memorable stay. The leisurely rooftop breakfast we had each morning was the perfect way to wake up, and definitely the cherry on top of the cake! I would stay here again, in a heartbeat!

The location of this hotel is great, right in front of the sea. The owner is exceptional, very polite and fulfilling all requests. He even offfered to drive me somewhere in case of a taxi no show. Breakfast was also great, prepared just for me before the regular time, early in the morning. Dont miss it.

The hotel is in a newly renovated building in the first line on the promenade with a spectacular view of the harbour. The rooms are very clean with a new furniture and comfortable beds. The owner Russel picked up us at the airport in the middle of the night. There are three options for the breakfast, all of them are great.

Mathew is a fantastic host. From perfect location across from harbour, to spacious room and bathroom, air con, TV, kettle, balcony. All you could want. Breakfast is a leisurely affair served alfresco on the rooftop. If a light sleeper maybe bring earplugs only due to some noise from harbour road. Would definitely stay again. Very good value

If your schedule permits, I'd definitely recommend a stay in Marsaklokk and La Reggia Seaview is the place to stay. It sits along the port, with great views of all the boats and activity. Shot for a room with a balcony, or you can hang up on the third floor patio where you'll get the same view. Just sitting there watching over a bottle of wine is worth the stay. The room was somewhat spartan, but the location is the reason for the stay.

It is a really nice place with good potential. However, the owner and his service spoiled the potential. --We were promised a pick up in the airport by the owner. We were waiting and waiting. Only when I called him, he said that there had been an emergency and we had to come on our own. I believe that he could warn us whenever they learned about this emergency and proactively reached out. Later we learned though that there was never an emergency :/ - Then we had to wait in the empty reception for 30 min for someone to let us in our room, as the hotel was empty from the staff - TV didn't have a signal - The shower didn't have hot water in the morning - Annoying sound from upstairs of people moving nonstop their chairs - There was a disorganization in the breakfast. The terrace was not ready for everyone having breakfast at the same time, so 2x we had to come later and we had to wait 30 min in a 'queue' to get food.
