I visited this hotel with 2 friends for a girls' weekend away. First of all, nothing to do with the hotel, but the airport at Marrakech was extremely busy. HUGE crowds to go through passport control, which took almost 2 hours of queuing. I would definitely consider pre booking the fast track (and possibly a private transfer so you aren't then waiting on a coach for hours for those who didn't fast track!) Be aware you cannot get local currency before you go but there are bureau de changes in the arrivals hall. You can't take the currency out of the country either and can only spend a limited amount on local goods in duty free so don't get caught out with too much left over cash! The transfer to the hotel was fine and took about 45 minutes to an hour. A very pleasing and impressive looking hotel. After all the airport queuing we were tired and hungry so it was absolutely wonderful to be greeted at the hotel by Hassan who immediately asked if we were hungry. It was too soon to check in so he got us our AI wristbands, took care of our cases and sent us to the restaurant. A fantastic welcome! Check in was seamless, hotel tax was paid and deposits left for the towels (100dhm per towel). There is an ATM in the hotel lobby. A porter then took our cases to the room, showing us the way. The room was fine although felt a little plain compared to the rest of the hotel's decor. The bathroom was spacious with a walk in shower, which was not particularly powerful but did the job. There was a full supply of toiletries shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and body lotion. There is a hairdryer. We had to request extra towels as there didn't seem to be the understanding that three women would want a towel each, plus one for their hair if possible! Of note, the bath towels were quite a good size, work with plus size bods! The balcony was very small and our garden view room was more a view of the carpark. There are no tea/coffee making facilities or an iron. There is a mini fridge. The third bed was a converted chaise in an alcove. It would have been better to have had a third full size bed as three adults sharing but would be fine for a child. The air conditioning worked very well, thankfully. The TV was mostly news channels, French and German. The hotel grounds were absolutely beautiful and constantly being tended to by a very dedicated team. A lovely touch was the signs giving the names of the plants. There are three pools. A main pool where they do some activities, aquafit (a real workout by an excellent teacher!) waterpolo. There are tiled steps at one end to make it easier to get in and out if you have mobility issues. There are ladders at the other end. The pool is a standard depth throughout, I think 1m40cm. They play music at this pool. There is a kids pool with slides etc near the kids club. There is an adults only pool, slightly smaller and quieter. Ladders in and out only. There are signs saying no air mattresses (lilos?) but some smal
