This was by far the worst stay we’ve had as a family. An extremely basic guest house, located far from the city center. We never received any entry code or WiFi password upon confirmation. When we arrived, nobody was there to open the door — we were left stranded outside with our child in the heat.
Only two rooms in the entire property have air conditioning, which is completely unacceptable in Marrakesh temperatures. We had booked a triple room for our family (my husband, son, and myself), but upon arrival, we were told it wasn’t available. The local manager offered us two separate rooms as a solution, which we accepted under the circumstances.
To our shock, the next day we were told we’d have to pay extra for the second room — despite it being their mistake. When we questioned this, the excuse changed: we were suddenly told that a woman is not supposed to stay in the same room with two men. A complete scam and blatant manipulation
Trip.com, you seriously need to reconsider listing this place. It’s misleading, chaotic, and reflects poorly on your platform.
Oh, and one last thing: toilet paper. It’s not a luxury. It’s hygiene 101.
