Premier Inn Marlborough

Had a stop off on our way to Bournemouth for breakfast. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful everything piping hot with 10/10 service by the Thai waitress Oil Highly recommended if anyone is looking for a quality breakfast with great service

Having used this hotel numerous times we was very disappointed this time. On arrival the staff were friendly as always but on walking to the room we noticed how grubby the corridors were, bits and pieces all over the floors. On getting in the room we straight away noticed one pillowcase was dirty and on taking that off the pillow protector underneath was bloodstained. We took it to reception and they changed it. Then not long after saw a dirty mark on the sheet. About an hour later we went to to use the hot water but it was tepid. We reported it straight away and was offered another room to shower in if we wanted. We said we'd leave it till the morning. On getting up to shower the water was stone cold and we found out the whole hotel had no hot water. I know they could not help the water situation but the dirtiness was unacceptable. We have always had a good stay there before.

Lovely Christmas touch, presents were left in the room for the kids on Christmas day and when we asked for early check in, they waived the upgrade fee as Christmas courtesy which was a lovely surprise. The room was immaculate and the staff were most helpful and kind. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook again as we have family nearby. Unfortunately i didn't note the names of staff on Christmas day but they were ever so lovely and it really made our day.

We stayed one night at this hotel before meeting family over the Christmas period. Unfortunately we had noise from the room above and as my husband is on the Autistic Spectrum and has sensory sensitivity the staff were excellent and moved us to a quieter room. The food was excellent and a good choice for breakfast. A big thank you to all the staff at Premier Inn who looked after us on 21 December. We will be staying again. Also a good price for the area.

The hotel is very nice to look at & there are plenty of free car parking spaces. We received a warm welcome & were pleased with our room on the 3rd floor. Spacious & very clean. The bed was comfortable & the shower amazing! It was nice to have a hair dryer, too. The only downside for me was the fact that the window couldn’t be opened. The air conditioning worked, but it’s not the same as having real fresh air coming into your room. The option to have either/or would be a winner, I think. I knew this would be the case & the website did mention it, but as the room was such good value I thought I would give it a go. Sadly, this is the only reason I would not return to this hotel as I felt a bit suffocated as I always have my bedroom window open at home. We didn’t eat here as we were trying to keep costs down.
