Jessica and Ray are wonderful hosts. Our room was quiet and felt cozy and warm during an unusually cold winter weekend. There was plenty of storage and the bathroom was nice and modern. It’s also in a great location close to plenty of stores and restaurants. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and are grateful for Jessica and Ray’s kindness. Thanks so much for a great stay.

Well set up fresh clean amities with kitchen access. I could heat my food up. Not that it bothered me but hear the people upstairs.

Hosts were extremely nice and the room and bathroom were kept very clean. The only downside to staying here is no cooking but if you need a place to stay and shower, there is no better place for the price.

I like that its in a quiet vicinity. Good and friendly in house service.

The property was advertised as a place in Downtown. It is almost an hour away from Downtown at Markham. This caused terrible issues for us as we spent, money and time in having to go to Downtown and then to come back from there. Also, the host was otherwise polite but when we asked her to switch on the AIr conditioner she told us that there were other people downstairs who might feel cold and so declined switching it on. There are no elevators inside the place and so anyone who goes there with any heavy baggage might face an issue of having to carry the luggage to the first floor. But generally the hostess was pretty polite apart from what has been mentioned.

Easy check in, very clean and quiet. One of 3 rooms in completely renovated basement. Kitchen & bathroom and everything you basically need. We lost a reservation downtown Toronto where we usually stay and had to find something last minute so searched ********** and glad we came up with this because the alternative was either very seedy or very expensive high end hotels since it was Labor Day week and start of the film festival. Drive to Downtown wasn’t that bad. Only complaint is that I wished there was an extra pillow or I brought my own because of back and neck issues. Otherwise great stay highly recommended. Thanks Ray & Jessica!!!!

Ray's attention was very fine and accommodating to my needs. The bed was wonderful, comfortable, and clean. In general, a well-organized and functional accommodation. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. It is not a 'luxury' accommodation, but the room was clean and comfortable and the price was right.
