Charlevoix's Beautiful Log Home

Great cabin in a quiet location with views of woods out the back and countryside in front and to the side. The home itself was clean and comfortable with all the amenities.

Amazing peaceful experience! So much prettier than the pictures are able to show. Everything was beyond perfect and cannot wait to go back! Fantastic hosts too!

Adorable house in country Overall, this is a very cute log cabin style house with a basement. The basement is a great additional space with an air hockey table, ping pong table and bedroom. The main living floor has a large family room, kitchen, dining room combo, and a decent size utility room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a small sitting area. The upstairs was hot, even with the fans. The temp range outside was 74-82. The main floor was cool and the basement very cool. There is a fire pit. Although the ad says a creek runs at the back of the property, it is not accessible. There is a very cute and relaxing front porch. My main issues where that the hot tub was dirty, there was no skimmer to clean the leaves out of the hot tub, the towels and kitchen stuff were old and everything was mismatched, only 9 towels, forks, spoons, things like that which were problematic with 9 staying at the house. It seemed like left overs to me. The dishwasher rollers were broken, and only worked on auto, which ran for hours, the washer didn’t work (although they replaced it two days later), many light bulbs were burnt out, many outlets didn’t work. I have rented many house in Michigan for a lot less money that had everything pristine and up to date. This was a cool house it just needs some TLC and someone to go in and redo the household stuff.
