Marinus Beach Hotel

We dropped our sail boat off in Trogir. From there we traveled 25 mins to Marina. This hotel is exceptional. The staff is amazing! The hotel is a jewel. Everybody is so helpful, and kind. The pool looks over the small bay. The hotel is a short walk to a beautiful little village that is full of incredible little restaurants and shops. Top Spot.

We have been at this hotel for 3 days & we have not a single fault. The staff are really friendly & genuine people. Reception staff in particular are very, very helpful and aim to please. They definitely go above and beyond. The rooms are very modern and designed to a high standard. They are very well laid out. Breakfast has a great selection every day. There is something for everyone & you can also have things made to order such as shrimp torpedo ( tempura prawns), eggs Benedict or a variety of pancakes to name but a few. We had an evening meal here at the hotel, there was plenty to choose from & the meal was really nice. A little bit pricey but you pay for what you get. The hotel also has its own sun-bed area at the beach, which takes less than 30 seconds to get to. There is also a snacks and drinks bar nearby. We shall definitely be coming back to this hotel.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived the staff were ALL fantastic, friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The rooms are lovely, great air conditioning (which in 39° weather is needed!) and an excellent location on a beautiful beach in a beautiful harbour town. The breakfast is plentiful and very delicious; the bar is reasonably priced and the selection is brilliant and the evening meal we had was incredible. Our trip to Croatia was my husband's surprise 40th birthday gift and the hotel gave us a wonderful desert, candle and prosecco to celebrate, free of charge, which was so incredibly appreciated. The only downside is we were in a room overlooking the beach bar and the music is very loud until midnight. It didn't bother us too much but if you are sensitive you may want to speak to the hotel in advance. We will definitely be back, we loved it!

This is a truly excellent boutique hotel with stunning vistas and a wonderfully modern yet understated finish. More importantly it has some of the best staff I have come across in a long time. Their consideration for guests and the personalisation of their approach is fantastic

I really can't emphasise enough how wonderful this hotel was. The staff were thoughtful, proactive, always professional and genuinely friendly. I looked forward to seeing them each shift change. Together, the staff made our holiday truly special and for that, it was worth staying there without any of the other superb reasons this hotel gives you. The management (Madame Saric? - Emanuela I think her name) has a rare talent. The hotel has an award winning design and the attention to detail in the rooms was a real delight for me. I'm tired of hotel rooms that put style over substance. It was chic, spacious, comfortable, quiet and great amount of storage. I could reach things and although not a specially built disabled room, I found it easy to move around and would have even stayed there on my own because I felt so safe, comfortable, I didn't need the usual amount of assistance from my husband. The view was heavenly from the balcony, the terrace and the beach. The loch is warm and perfectly calm for swimming - bring swim shoes for the pebbles down to the water or use the free hotel slippers like we did to get in and out. The breakfasts are varied and plentiful. The downside for us was that the evening menu was very international and plain (all be it beautifully styled.) I personally wanted to eat some local Croatian dishes, but here are numerous good eating places a few minutes on foot, if you want a different style. The pool is safe, easy to get in and out if you have mobility problems like me, but at the end of the season it is in the shade most of the day so very cold! I use an electric wheelchair and managed to move down to the beach going out the front door and circling the perimeter of the building rather than from the terrace, which has steps leading down to the sand, but that was a small price to pay for a lovely stay and my only effort. Also, (maybe because end of season) the bar staff at the beach bar didn't come to the loungers on the beach, so without my able-bodied husband, I wouldn't have been able to get drinks or food. I'm sure they would have carried them down if asked, but I still wouldn't have been able to get their attention in the first place without help. I would love to return to the Marinus Beach and hope you have a wonderful stay too if you decide to go.

I am currently staying at the Marinus Beach hotel and can not fault a thing here. It is a fantastic hotel with amazing staff. Nothing is too much trouble and they explain everything very well. The hotel is beautiful. It is brand new and everything is spotlessly clean. The spa is limited (just a jacuzzi and sauna at the moment but both are excellent. I haven’t tried the pool but the only downside is that it is in the shade most the day. It is right on a beach and the beach bar as part of the hotel is excellent. The restaurant is beautiful and generally everywhere is a nice place to be. The rooms are great with comfortable beds and even though I know someone is staying in the room next to me I haven’t heard them once. I like that it is so quiet, sometimes you can hear the tv through a hotel wall. I can not rate this hotel highly enough. I would definitely return.

Stayed for 3 nights after a Sunsail flotilla holiday - 2 adults and 2 teenagers in 2 double rooms. Hotel was beautiful with very comfortable and clean rooms. Amazing views from the balconies. Pool was fabulous and never busy. Lots of sunbeds. The service was outstanding. We were very well looked after when we arrived early and when we had an issue with the taxi we had booked to take us to the airport at the end of our stay, the receptionist managed to find one for us at 7am that arrived in 5 minutes. Very relaxing few days in beautiful surroundings.

Top class hotel. Stayed for one night recently at the end of a sailing holiday from the nearby marina. Hotel is relatively new and looks fantastic. Clean, sleek, well thought out. Close to small beach but also has a smart infinity pool. Staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. We ate lunch in attached beach bar and dinner in hotel. Lunch was great and fair price; dinner menu was a bit limited but still good. As others have said, breakfast offering was fabulous. Lovely clean room, great sea views, comfortable beds. Minor gripe that there were slightly more guests than deck chairs (hotel was full) but we did all get one in the end so alls well. We all loved it , would recommend it and would stay again.

I can’t rave enough about this hotel. It is brilliant. It’s a 4 star with all the feels of a 5 star! Location is great - set on the beach front, in a nice quiet area with a number of restaurants within a small walk Hotel is beautiful. Instant wows when you walk in and see the views. You get such a personalised and friendly welcome, you basically just walk in, take a seat and the reception team do the work whilst you sit and relax, enjoying your welcome drink. The infinity pool couldn’t look more tempting, and having access to a gym and spa facilities is always a huge bonus. The rooms are a nice size, the bed is large, the bathroom with walk in shower is great - just what you need after a day relaxing on the beach. All the hotel beds on the beach are free to guests (which in todays world is extremely rare). The breakfast offering is very good, with something to suit everyone - and served in the very smart looking restaurant (again with some lovely views whilst you sit and enjoy your food). We had an accident whilst staying here, and needed to ask for the first aid box, and the reception team couldn’t have been more helpful - bringing the box, and then a couple of minutes later knocking on our room with ice and towels as well as advise on nearby medical facilities - even passing the information on to the next person covering reception so they were aware and could assist if required. Iris especially was brilliant and really went over and above to make our stay special (everyone we interacted with on the reception desk were top class and a great ambassador for the hotel). The only downside to the hotel is the glass window between the bedroom and the bathroom - I know it’s becoming a thing in newer hotels but I don’t know many people who are comfortable with not having the option for full privacy when using the bathroom. Even with this though I would definitely stay here again. The perfect ending to our Croatia holiday.
