Margate

Arrived and checked in super fast. The room was basic but comfortable. Very little in the way of tea/coffee/sugars/milk, luckily we had our own (saved constantly asking at reception). Really helpful and friendly guy working on the desk. He gave us info and tips on the venue we were attending for the gig and after the gig he supplied us with a much needed jug of nice cold water to take to our room. Breakfast was delicious and a huge selection of cooked and continental. Evening dinner was also really delicious.. however remember to book in advance if you don't want to be sternly told off by the lady seating people (we didn't realise we needed to), so that was spoilt a little bit. Overall a really pleasant stay and would definitely book again.

To us our stay was priceless. Close to station and bus stop for hospital and the restaurant was on the premises with the meal deal bargain available was very pleasing to my wallet, for me everything was on one level, although there were lifts and stairs to other floors: priceless!!!!

We spent one night at the Margate Premier inn on 03/09/24, we were in Margate for a special occasion. The room was very hot, they provided a fan which wasn't very effective, the outside temperature was mild but not hot. Our room was on the first floor over the reception area, there is no a/c, we didn't want a/c as we didn't expect the room to be so hot.. The building is over insulated with windows that don't open properly. The staff were very friendly but they expected the complaint about how hot the room was.I contacted Premier Inn Customer Services when I got home after a sleepless night due to the heat of the room/building. They shut my complaint down straightaway as they said a complaint about the lack of a/c/ temperature and is not covered in their GOOD NIGHT GUARANTEE I won't be staying here again which is a shame as the hotel is very well located. I hardly ever write reviews so am writing this to warn others who might want to stay in this hotel-don't!
