The Godolphin Hotel

From booking the hotel the staff were great they contacted us about booking a slot for dinner as they had a busy restaurant that night and gosh we were so glad we did the food was amazing. Staff were so helpful. The room was amazing overlooking the beach and beautiful St Michaels Mount. We will definitely be back.

What a lovely find the Godolphin hotel was! We were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary and chose to visit St Michael's Mount and the surrounding area. The hotel is conveniently positioned opposite the island and has free designated car parking for hotel guests too. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and much appreciated a complimentary drink on the outside terrace as we soaked up the great views! Our room was very comfortable and clean, and the cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious, all with a great view across to St Michael's Mount as we ate. We appreciated the very helpful and friendly staff during our stay, and we look forward to staying at the Godolphin hotel again sometime. Highly recommended!

First of all, the customer service at the Godolphin is exceptional! On arrival we were greeted by a lovely and frendly receptionist. We came before scheduled check-in time, she said she will try get the room ready asap , we can explore the beach and scenery in the interim and she will call soon as its ready. She told us about the local restaurants and sites. Being met with such warmth makes ALL the difference . Especially when you are so far from familiar territory. The restaurant staff- again, greets you immediatley with a smile, takes you to the best available seats , which you might think is standard but no. I have been to many restaurants and ushered into dark dull corners despite available tables on more ' 'scenic' sides. We inevitably have to request a change of seating ...but at the Godolphin....it felt like the my best interests were at the heart of each person. Excellent service. Now the hotel itself- wow. Decor is elegant and stylish. Room was furnished with so many treats , complimentary and things to pay for- wines, chocolates, brownies, gin...we do not drink but felt cared for! A major plus- the little fridge. It feels like someone sat down and thought 'if i was a guest in a hotel, what would I like'. To all the staff at the Godolphin- inlcuding the friendly cleaners who I did not mention, you do Marazion, the rest of Cornwall and the South west proud. You brought huge smiles and happiness to the hearts of two very overworked and burnt out Doctors. Totally worth the drive from Preston! Be blessed.

Just fabulous. Arrived at 2, staff were brilliant and so helpful as where to park etc and early breakfast as our flight to the Scilly Isles was early. Our room was amazing and loved every second of it. Definitely coming back. Great rooms, wine & food & staff. Well done

Staff were absolutely wonderful from housekeepers to waiters, a very special mention goes to Prue who went above and beyond for our stay, and also another special mention to Lisa thank you both so much, they are very special managers. Breakfast was to die for 5* . We had an issue with the bedroom which was sorted very quickly. This is a lovely relaxing Hotel, do go and experience it.

Great views, location, food and atmosphere with lovely staff. This was part of our best day in Cornwall, combining lunch here with a walk to St Michaels. I had a lovely hake club sandwich, children were all happy with their burgers and fries, all whilst staring out the window at St Michaels.

My partner and I came on Sunday for the Sunday roast platter, which was lovely. We also had a calamari starter which was amazing- genuinely some of the best calamari I have had, I would put this on a plate though rather than a small bowl. The portion size was large, so a small plate would be better. The main roast was delicious, and a great size. We also had the sticky toffee pudding, which again was one of the best I have ever had. We LOVED the Oreos on the side, it was amazing. The wine was perfect. And the VIEW !! You won’t get a better view of St Michael’s Mount. The staff were really lovely too!

We called into the hotel without a reservation and were greeted with the warmest of welcomes. Our room was absolutely spotless and warm with spectacular views. Dinner in the evening was perfect, and a lot of fun. I have nothing negative to say. This place is a real gem staffed by good people who know what they're doing.

Fantastic view, food at restaurants and helpful friendly staff. the views of the Mont are amazing, could not have a better location in Marazion.Also convenient for getting around area as bus stop is right out front nearby as well.Highly recommend.
