Hostel Mannheim

The manager/ owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I had made an error when booking, there were a shortage of rooms and he still found a way to fit me in. He was also very friendly and helpful. He physically took me to show me where I could store my bike. Facilities are fantastic. There's a bike storage room. A laundry area. A kitchen area that's well equipped. The reception and bar are on the top 'penthouse' floor with a roof top seating area which was lush. The room was very clean as too were the kitchen area, shower and toilets. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the city. There was a great atmosphere to the place with modern posters a signs as well as a good automated security locks on room doors, lockers and the main enterence/ enterence to floors. The lady's have a female only floor which makes the hostel even more secure if female. I really can't fault this place. I'm cycling through Europe and had a difficult days cycling. This place was a mini oasis at the end of a tough day. HIGHLY highly recommend 10/10

Das Hostel ist sehr neu und war bei meinem Besuch super sauber. Witzig fand ich, dass die Stockwerke nach den Hogwarts-Häusern benannt waren. Das Vierbettzimmer hatte elektrische Rollläden, die komplett abgedunkelt haben. An jedem Bett gab es rund herum Vorhänge, sodass man zumindest etwas Privatsphäre hatte. Jedes Bett hat außerdem eine Lampe und Lademöglichkeit. Im Zimmer hat jeder einen abschließbaren Spind, ebenfalls mit Lademöglichkeit. Bei der Ankunft war das Bett frisch bezogen und Handtücher gab es auch kostenlos. Dusche und Toilette waren getrennt und sehr sauber. Allerdings war das Hostel auch nicht voll. Pro Stockwerk gibt es nur eine Toilette und eine Dusche. Einen Föhn und Seife gibt es auch. Bei 15 Leuten pro Stockwerk wird das bestimmt eng… bei uns waren zum Glück nur kurze Wartezeiten. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und hat eine Spülmaschine. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr nett und entspannt. Die Dachterasse ist auch toll. Es gibt übrigens auch einen Aufzug. Ins gesamt echt empfehlenswert. Kleiner Abzug für die begrenzte Bad/Toilettensituation.
