Wonderful place! Just a great getaway near the heart of Manhattan! Eight minutes from KState. Strong Inn gives such a sense of "place", connecting you with the history of the area while keeping you close in.

Graduation weekend We loved the historic home - it was great to read all the history inside the home. The outdoor patio was perfect for an evening of just hanging out with some friends. It gave us flexibility to have a few others over for graduation celebration. The host was incredibly flexible and kind. Really a great stay, we'd stay there again.

Over the river and through the woods, to Grandma's house we go This home is as billed. It is living history and walking through the door, you could almost smell homemade cookies, pies and cakes and see grandma busily working in the kitchen preparing to welcome everyone home for Thanksgiving. While it isn't a five star stay at a hotel, it is a five star stay at grandma's house and just as comfortable. The home was clean, warm and, well, homey. Like a favorite sweater or fall coat, it fit immediately and was reassuredly peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely stay again!!
