Nice beach hotel, lovely people

From the moment we arrived to an elegant reception with a welcoming drink, our expectations were exceeded every single day. Room - A spacious room with a very comfy bed, with a stunning view of the sea and pool. Great air conditioner as well which was much needed, with temperatures sitting above 40C. The room was cleaned every day too. Staff - We wouldn’t be able to name all the staff who helped make our stay absolutely superbly brilliant and lovely… there are far too many. from the reception greeting staff to the restaurant staff, bartenders, cleaning staff… they all get our thanks. A big shoutout to Bipul for amazing cocktails, and being a lovely person! Food - Absolutely delicious, with a range of options - including 4 restaurants which we highly recommend to book as soon as you arrive. Lovely evening entertainment as well, from one man bands to Greek dancing. Beach and Pool - Lovely small and quiet beach with a fairly large pool. The pool is surrounded by loungers, and there’s a lovely grass area which keeps you cool in the midday sun. A few steps into turquoise water to lovely schools of little fish! The pool bar was also very easily accessible which served great, stunning, cocktails (thanks Alina for the brilliant cocktails!!) We don’t want to recommend this place too highly, or else everyone will end up going

Hotel is beautiful, clean and all staff are friendly and helpful. We was upgraded to a bungalow. Was jus amazing. All inclusive is fantastic, on beach easy access to old town via hotel taxi. Highly recommend this hotel can't wait to return.❤️

A lovely 11 night holiday with my daughter. Positives .- Room lovely and lady that cleaned our room 218 was so nice and did a brilliant job. Air-con very good. Hotel very clean, food very good plenty of choice only one night when everything seemed to have spice on which I struggle with. Pool area kept clean and tidy with a lifeguard present and in control, in a friendly manner. Bar staff, restaurant and reception staff very pleasant polite and friendly. Negative - I suffer from severe vertigo and had an attack 2 days before leaving I went to ask about a late check out room at 100 euros which is a bit expensive but it was needed as after taking meds I need to lay down sadly the blonde lady on reception was very disinterested and made me feel very uncomfortable. Another female member of staff in little Italy was very rude to other guests not just me. Entertainment not as good as last year sadly. Would we recommend ? if you’re not bothered about evening entertainment, yes ….. would we book again sorry to say no only due to the poor entertainment.

Fantastic hotel and wonderful staff,very clean and the cleaner for the room was lovely leaving us animals made of towels and the room was spotless. The four different restaurants to dine in during your stay are exceptional, the food and service was excellent.

Hotel very clean food is excellent especially Asian restaraunt, staff friendly always happy to help ,if you feel the need to have a sunbed near the pool get up early and get your towels down if you don't mind there are loads of beds available. Ten minutes takes you to bars and restaurants 30/40 minutes to the harbor area 611 bus runs regularly or 12euro for a taxi.Would come back to The Cypria Maris in a heartbeat

Just book them. We had no regrets. We were regular All Inclusive, treated very well. Local spirits we had were Smirnoff and Bacardi. Mixers aren't bottle but still Pepsi and 7 up.They have Pepsi max. Pool bar pina colada is slushy, was yummy. They also do a lemon and strawberry slush. All the A la carte restaurants were yummy , Asian was favourite. Local draught beer was OK. Friends were platinum band so we occasionally had a bottled Sol. Little Italy daytime pasta and pizza tasty. Burger bar and side bit for all kinds of burgers, chicken gyro, chips, jacket spuds, wraps, salad and sweet treats were good quality. Pool bar bit soupy as its small so like a kids paddling pool wasn't so welcoming. Outdoor pool clean as was indoor pool , jacuzzi and sauna. Indoor pool refreshing cold. Luxury beds by indoor pool. Room we had was great , better than booked I think. Was 5th floor with side sea view, balcony, big bed , walk in large shower with the two shower heads. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Evening buffet also spoilt for choice. Other areas also clean and appealing. Air con in room fab but some of the reception areas not so cool. Pavlos on reception night time , cool helpful guy. Would we go again , sure if the price was right but generally like to try different areas or countries. Camel car hire recommended by hotel was OK but don't expect a newer model and if you hire a Honda get them to turn the infotainment system to English , annoying Japanese voice randomly yapping got a tad annoying. Car hire for medium car Honda for 2 days incl full no excess insurance was £150. Fuel was 1 50 euro per litre but factor in mpg not so great as car had done 136k but we went loads of cool places including waterfalls, Troodos Mountains , quaint villages, Harbours and a beach at Limassol. Parking was 2hrs for 2 euros. Hotel towels freely handed out with towel voucher. Beautiful walk to Pathos Harbour took 30 mins. Hotel supermarket doesn't screw you , similar prices to bigger one across the road to left that opens at 8am. Bored writing now lol. If you go hope you had as many laughs and fun as we did. 10 night All inclusive and only put on 5lbs RESULT !!! Others had said entertainment not so good but what I saw was of a good standard compared to other places been to

This was our second visit back to the Cypria Maris, and whilst the hotel and amenities are very very good, it was the staff that made us want to return. Theo, Kevin, Tatiana, the lovely Helen, and a relatively new member of the team, Maciej made us feel welcomed, relaxed and extremely well looked after (again!) - all of the staff at the Cypria Maris are a real asset to the hotel. The on-site buffet restaurant has an excellent choice, and the 4 a la carte restaurants on site are also very good - as is the pool side snack bar. On each visit we’ve opted for the standard all inclusive and have found the rooms to be very good, the choice of all inclusive drinks to be more than adequate and never struggled for a sun bed as there are plenty on the grassed area and by the beach. We particularly enjoy the fun atmosphere in the Erato club bar on site, although it would be great to be able to get a drink in there as late as 1am (currently closes at midnight). We will definitely return and would highly recommended the Cypria Maris for a relaxed, yet fun adult only all inclusive hotel stay in Paphos.
