Massimo is an excellent host making guests feel welcome and at home. He works so hard and is super friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The location is peaceful with amazing vistas and so close to the railway for getting to the local sights of Varenna and the Pearl of Lake Como, Bellagio. The beach and shores of lake Como are a two minute walk. There’s a Gelateria serving ice cream, cakes and pastries two mins away too. Mandela is 3 mins on the train with trains running every hour and that’s where you can find more restaurants and shops and cafes. Excellent family room. Very spacious and clean and lots of storage and easy access to the garden. Only a few rooms here Maje it peaceful and homely. Massimo makes an excellent breakfast for guests each morning with pastries, local meats and cheeses, yoghurts, eggs and bacon. Easy to reach from the airport by train from Bergamo Milan but we weren’t sure so booked a transfer which was very expensive. Next time would definitely use the train. Thank you Massimo! We would love to come again and enjoy your home!

Super location absolutely wonderful hospitality. massimo the owner keeps guests comfortable. fresh breakfast is served to you at your specially assigned table. very clean rooms . very nice quiet town. peaceful. only thing the station even though its a few minuted walk from the property the trains run every hour . have to return back before 9 pm as no trains to Alcio town where the B&B is . ideal stay for those travelling to Bellagio, Mennagio, Varenna ,Tremezzo .difficult to travel if you need to go to far places , like Venice, Florence, Naples . Steep pebbled climb from the property to the station so dont carry too much luggage. not many restaurants around. no super market . have to go to the next town. But the stay was ab super . lovely house . beautiful view from the rooms .hope to go back again . massimo thanx for the great welcome and making our stay pleasant .

The most amazing property and host that anyone can find in the area. The attention to detail of all the information provided and the property was immaculate. Made our holiday one of the best ever! A must stay if going to Como - away from the crazy tourist areas but get an even greater experience - like having our own villa in Como!!

2nd stay here. Massimo still most friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, good breakfast. Located near the railway station (tickets available at the B&B). Free parking. Nice view on the lake. Some nice restaurants at affordable prices in the neighbourhood (recommended by Massimo)

Our stay at this B&B was fantastic from beginning to end. Massimo was a wonderful host, providing us with advice and tips for excursions and restaurants. He took care of us exceptionally well; he is friendly, very kind, warm-harted and an attentive host. The accommodation is clean, very comfortable with a balcony offering a beautiful view of the lake; the sunsets from this place are truly stunning.The location is perfect for exploring the area, place with the option of parking available. The breakfast was delicious, a perfect start to the day. Highly recommended.

This review is dedicated to the excellent hosting skills of Massimo. This was my husband and I's first trip to Lake Como, and Massimo took care of us for the few days that we were there. He gave us many ideas about things to do in the area including a wonderful dinner at Villa Maggio one night when our dinner plans didn't pan out (make sure to ask him about Villa Maggio!) Breakfast was phenomenal and plentiful each morning. Our room was large with a stunning view and spotless upon arrival. We couldn't be happier with our stay, and can't wait to be back! Highly, highly recommend!!!

We found this wonderful B&B while researching on ******* for somewhere to stay in the Como area. Olcio is a tiny little hamlet and Massimo’s wonderful B&B is a few minutes walk from the station (30metres). Olcio has regular trains and is a wonderful serene place to base yourself for exploring the area if you prefer a less “touristy” place than the busy and expensive Como leg of lake Como. Massimo is a host of superlative grace, friendliness, professionalism and support. Casa Musica is spotlessly clean and the rooms well appointed with comfy beds, great views and everything you need. When our train arrived in Olcio, Massimo was waiting in his car to collect us and our luggage…. for the 100 metre drive :-) A lovely start. Nothing was too much trouble from train tickets to booking restaurants. Bottom line… don’t think or delay, book here!

We have just spent time at Casa Della Musica and it was fabulous. Perfectly located on Lake Como in a quiet village but with great links to other towns by rail. Our room was great and the breakfast was fantastic. Massimo is a great host, taking time to give tips on where to go and making sure everyone feels at home. Would not hesitate to go back. Terrific B&B with spectacular views, excellent tasty breakfasts incorporating eggs, pastries, fruits, meats and cheeses and our particularly friendly and accommodating host Massimo and his cousin Fabio. On warmer days he made sure the air conditioning was on before we arrived back. Beds were comfy and the rooms immaculately clean. This beautiful, peaceful village, is a small number of miles away from popular but more crowded lakeside destinations and very convenient by train or car. You may request to park in the garage. A wealth of information is provided in different languages on nearby beaches, bars, restaurants, shops, gelateria, attractions, trips by boat or cable car. Massimo is attentive in helping with queries, suggesting the most appropriate activities to suit different ages, abilities and weather conditions. This helped us to find walks incorporating sites of local culture, nature, waterfalls and viewpoints and much more. The karaoke on the beach Massimo suggested was a particular highlight.
