Manchester West Didsbury

Hotel was ok, little run down and not very clean. Ideal location for didsbury.

Hotel lovely but premier inn that now own the decommissioned beefeater is appalling! 3 staff members busy and clearly cannot cope. Waited over 2 1/2hrs for our meals with 2 children aged 6 and 10. Youngest in a dance competition first thing tomorrow morning. Booked table for 6:15 got starters at 7:30 forgot children’s starters , main meals came at 8:15pm after having to pester and plead with the staff who were apologetic but the damage to our evening has been done and we’re up at 6:30am. Premier inn if you cannot cope with a restaurant why have one at all ? We are loyal premier inn guests and the decommissioning of branded restaurants is not good enough if you cannot cope or have the infrastructure and staff to provide for its guests! Sort it out as we won’t be coming again ever

It’s ok. Not the best one we’ve stayed in. It’s marketed as west Didsbury - buts it’s more like Charlton cum hardy. The hotel itself needs some TLC. It’s like staying in a Travelodge. Rooms are dated and there’s no heating, so good luck with the summer duvet in autumn. The bar/restaurant is located across the road in not so great building. It all looks a bit sad really and premier inn should really invest in this place. The staff are great, but don’t have knowledge in any of the drinks. It seems that the management are non existent in this hotel. Would I stay here again, probably not. But it’s ok for a one night stay if you’re heading v to the airport and don’t expect much from a budget hotel.

Currently staying here ,there is no restaurant no meals breakfast and dinner available at all no one to ask , no staff about not sure who I have paid . I am having to drive out of my way to get a form of breakfast and eat in other restaurants out of my way . If I knew the restaurant wasn’t available, I could have booked an Air b n b and had a fridge then I could supply my own food.

The room was comfortable and clean. A helpful lift for us old folks. We could not wish for anything better. Meals are taken in an adjacent restaurant. We were there for 2 breakfasts. As we live in France we look forward to a Full English and we were not disappointed on the Saturday morning. A lovely buffet layed out before us. Unfortunately the food was cold, just warm at best. So we complained to the staff on the desk and she promised to bring it to the attention of the chef. Sunday morning was no better. Cool to cold so I rejected it and had to make do with a croissant. The egg my partner took was just a solid yellow rubbery mess. We would have also eaten there Friday and Saturday nights but the menu was not attractive and the chips unacceptable. They cannot be bothered peeling the potatoes so we went into town. We will stay at the Premier Inn again but will reject the food offers.

Comfortable and well located for me. Could do with a bit of refurbishment. Carpet tired. Restaurant closed at short notice which was.

Basic hotel, room too hot, fire alarm went off during night briefly and disturbed us violently from sleep (there was no fire it just rung twice). No breakfast as they closed the restaurant. Bed was comfortable enough but pillows were thin. It was clean.

Check in and staff great but room poor and located next to stairs which meant kept awake all night. Alarm went off at 3.38am that staff did not know about in the morning which was a bit worrying. Other guests were woken up too and glad it was not a fire ! Restaurant was closed next door so no breakfast or evening meal options which were not known at time of booking and due to location nothing within 20 minute walk.according to staff essential maintenance was being carried out as building was dangerous. Have stayed with premier inn many times and has always been my go to but will think twice in future and will definitely not go back to west didsbury again

The rooms were comfortable and clean. However the breakfast was poor. It was lukewarm at best and the fried eggs were clearly reheated, hard and inedible.
