Travelodge Manchester Ancoats Hotel

The hotel was clean, tidy, with simple amenities. The only criticisms are that due to the location of the hotel it is noisy as it is located right next to a main road. Also, the rooms can get very warm as there is no air conditioning.

Meeks was super friendly and helpful from the moment I stepped in the door! They got me a charger for my headphones and understood my neurodivergence struggles. Let me check in slightly early, very kind and really accommodating! Highly recommended

For the price and location of two nights including breakfast you couldn't complain! We had one of the newly refurbished rooms and it was completely fine. There is no air conditioning in rooms which for that weekend did mean our rooms were warm but compared to reviews i read before staying was no where near as bad as expecting. (It was 25/27 degree heat and was able to sleep with window closed) A fan was also provided but we just made sure window was open all day. However, when booking a travelodge again i’d ensure that our rooms will have air-con. There was no bath mat provided so we made use of the spare towel however a real lack of places to hang our towels. A back of door hook is needed but wasn’t a big deal just some general advice. Breakfast was average but nice and quiet and always fully stocked. And lastly Bernadette who checked us in was great! Super friendly and even gave us transport advice for our plans which matched exactly what she said! Overall, for the price and location would return!

A great hotel in Manchester. Close to bars & restaurants. Bernadette on Reception was super friendly & helpful. Room was basic but clean & tidy. FYI - no hairdryer in room but available from reception. Breakfast was hot with plenty of choice.

Bernadette and Alessio Manchester ancoats were exceptionally accommodating we arrived past 21:20. Ordering dinner was no trouble very attentive. I use Travelodge for business all over and your Stratford London team should be trained by these very valuable individuals. Their upselling skills were also a credit to them you felt you wanted to spend money purely down to their customer service.
