We arrived late 23/3 in the evening Positives :: The Shower Housekeeper The fridge man Negatives:: If your not from a certain part of Europe You don’t get service Bar staff and waiters / waitresses walk past once they hear you speak Others Get table service Ashtray changes Great looking glasses If your having a beer and you see others with better glasses you get miffed After 8 days I questioned the bar staff in the main restaurant They hit the nail on the head SAYING THEY ARE FOR THE GERMANS !! So me being me took my grievance to Guest Relations, Reception Supervisor was brought into conversation too . This lead us to disclose the state of the A LA CARTE special restaurant ( Turkish /Seafood Crockery Chipped Plates Ramekins and bowls A waiter in there was clearing my Starter Plate Where I’d placed my cutlery and he told me to KEEP MY CUTLERY FOR THE MAIN COURSE !!!! Really That’s 5 star service isn’t it I will show photos of both points in my pictures In main 24 hour bar I witnessed a waitress waiting for her drinks being poured by staff She actually stood there and REACHED OVER EATING THE FRUIT AND GARNISH WHILE WAITING!!! In this climate of awakening we all lived through with a certain virus where we lost so much it beggars belief that we witnessed that WHATS GOING ON BEHIND THE SCENES Hence smoke & mirrors The Food is well below par for a Five Star Hotel Which actually struggles we feel to reach 3.5 Stars as Barry M Previous review stated !! So apart from a great location ie the beach This Hotel does not reach the standards we feel a 5 star hotel should reach They were having a meeting about adding more British TV Channels A week ago No change yet You will spend more time in your room as Weather is getting bad again So we wouldn’t advise you hold your breath The hotel has in their words spoken to relative departments and this is now being addressed We been offered an upgrade to the Main Building if we would like to return Ahhhh no you’re ok !!! My family and I have just returned from a weeks stay and we have had the best time. I traveled with my sons 7 and 12 and my husband and brother. From the first moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by the hotel receptionist. Our room was a very large size and was absolutely spotless, the adjoining room was perfect for us with having a teenager in toe. The room also had a fridge which was stocked every morning with cokes, fantas, waters and beers etc which was included in the price. Our room was cleaned every day to a really high standard. Every member of staff was so friendly, so hard working and couldn't do enough for their guests. The service we received was outstanding and consistent all week. The food choices were really good for an all inclusive and tasted great. There was even an option to go to three different la carte restaurants on site again included in the price. The house wine was very good and all drinks were branded and lots of cocktail and moocktail options. I would book the la carte restaurants as soon as you arrive though as they get booked up quickly. The indoor pool was great and very well used as we went out of season so it was too cold for the outdoor pool. They aslo had a childrens play area and lots of sporting activities. The hotel is situated right next to lots of markets, shops and cafes etc and a tax rank right opposite. We used the taxi service a few times and they were very reliable and it was a good price. My husband and I used the spa which was fantastic and I would highly recommend the Turkish bath and full body massage. Well worth the money we paid. The hotel is also a beach front and there is a bar where you can order drinks and food to have on beach. The hotel has its own cats so if you love cats this is your hotel. My son even got over his fear of cats and was cuddling them by the end of the holiday. To be honest we are struggling to find anything negative to say about this hotel. We wouldn't hesitate to come back and next time we would like to come in season as I'm sure it would be even more amazing with the sun shining. Thanks so much Paloma Oceana for a perfect holiday.

A wonderful holiday experience! My family and I stayed at Paloma Oceanada for two weeks. I must say, it was simply wonderful. The cleanliness was excellent. I was especially pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms. The pools were beautiful. And of course, the beach... the beach is the best thing. We will choose it again next year. Best regards.

We arrived late and told there was food 11-1am in snack bar. Food was bread with no butter, soup & some weird looking meatballs that I would’ve feed to a cat. Awful. No air con anywhere other than the rooms. So 40+ degree heat and no relief when walking into anywhere - be it the hotel corridor, toilets, restaurant etc. Awful. Shower broken in three places, dust everywhere, dirty balcony, pancake pillows. Awful. Food is absolutely horrendous. Queues for absolute days - I’m talking 25+ people in the queues. 90% of it is rank. And they gave our 3 and 5 year olds WINE GLASSES to drink their water out of. Awful. Pools are all hotter than a bath, so no relief from the heat even when you jump in there. Awful. Tried to move hotels it’s that bad, but Tui told us that’s not possible, and I’m basically counting down the days til we go home, which is EIGHT SODDING Days. £6k this cost us. Absolute joke. Kids disco on a raised massive stage that’s far too daunting for both my kids, and plus again - no fans or any form of disco in an air con area. Awful. There is not one good thing to write about this place. It’s tired, dated, and unless you’re German everyone is so rude to you. Honestly - I don’t understand why all the reviews on this hotel on trip advisor is in English, when it’s clear most people who are writing them are probably German. I asked a bar staff member how he was. He started back at me and just said ‘you want something?’ With such a disgusted look on his face. Without a doubt the worst hotel Ive ever ever ever been to. DO NOT BOOK HERE. You will regret it. I’ve also not heard a peep from the hotel even though we have complained to Tui. No one cares. Nice one.

We had an unforgettable stay at Paloma Oceana and were absolutely delighted with everything! The hotel is outstanding in every aspect. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very clean — housekeeping was done daily to a high standard. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Even our children found many things they enjoyed, which is not always easy! We traveled as a family with kids, and we can confidently say this hotel is perfect for families. There’s a kids’ club, children’s pool, fun activities — everything is well thought-out to keep little ones happy and entertained. The hotel staff are true professionals. We especially want to thank the guest relations team — they were always helpful, friendly, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The restaurant and bar staff were also very polite, attentive, and kind. Overall, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxing. We truly felt at home. We would definitely love to come back again and will gladly recommend Paloma Oceana to all our friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We’ve recently returned from our stay and, after giving some time to reflect, I want to leave a fair but honest review. This is not a 5-star hotel experience. At best, I’d call it 3-4 star. While there are some highlights, serious issues around spa safety, food hygiene, and smoking left us disappointed and at times distressed… Spa incident — extremely upsetting I went to enquire about a hammam for myself but was subjected to high-pressure upselling by the male spa manager. He encouraged me to add expensive extras and pushed me to bring my children too — even speaking directly to them. And he personally escorted them on a tour of the spa, selling the treatments to them so hard. Of course, they then asked me to let them have treatments, swayed by his persuasive pitch. I deeply regret agreeing. During my daughter’s facial, the face mask got into her eye, triggering a severe reaction. She was in agony. We made two late-night hospital trips, one involving an antihistamine injection. This was terrifying for her — and for us. The hotel gave us a beach cabana as a goodwill gesture, I believe they felt I would be satisfied with that but i was not - so I had to negotiate hard to get the rest of the £300 package refunded. A deeply upsetting experience. We took 4 taxi rides to the local hospital and spent around £300 in dr fees so I was extremely disappointed to have to deal with this on the first full day of our holiday, to be honest I wanted to leave and go home at that point. ⸻ Food hygiene issue The food was average — not 5-star standard — and my appetite was ruined after witnessing a male staff member put his fingers into two breakfast serving bowls and eat from them. I reported it to management, which I didn’t enjoy doing, but I felt I had to for hygiene reasons. ⸻ Smoking everywhere One of the biggest issues for me personally was the uncontrolled smoking. It’s allowed everywhere — at the kids’ pool, on the beach, in bars and restaurants. For a family hotel, this is completely inappropriate. By the end of each day, my hair and clothes smelled like cigarette smoke, and it genuinely felt like my children and I had passively smoked a packet each. This should be addressed urgently with designated smoking areas away from family zones. ⸻ The positives — why 3 stars, not 1 To be fair, there were some real highlights: • A brilliant trip to Side Old Town, which I highly recommend. The historical ruins and sea views were beautiful, and the shopping was much better quality than the stalls near the hotel. Be ready for hard sales tactics — plenty of charm when you arrive, but some frostiness if you don’t buy. • The water parks were excellent — one of the main reasons I booked the hotel and a big hit with the kids. • The beach was very nice, and we had fantastic service at the beach cabana (especially from the regular waiter there — I wish I had caught his name). • When my daughter was suffering, the night manager, general manager, and guest serv
