We arrived late 23/3 in the evening Positives :: The Shower Housekeeper The fridge man Negatives:: If your not from a certain part of Europe You don’t get service Bar staff and waiters / waitresses walk past once they hear you speak Others Get table service Ashtray changes Great looking glasses If your having a beer and you see others with better glasses you get miffed After 8 days I questioned the bar staff in the main restaurant They hit the nail on the head SAYING THEY ARE FOR THE GERMANS !! So me being me took my grievance to Guest Relations, Reception Supervisor was brought into conversation too . This lead us to disclose the state of the A LA CARTE special restaurant ( Turkish /Seafood Crockery Chipped Plates Ramekins and bowls A waiter in there was clearing my Starter Plate Where I’d placed my cutlery and he told me to KEEP MY CUTLERY FOR THE MAIN COURSE !!!! Really That’s 5 star service isn’t it I will show photos of both points in my pictures In main 24 hour bar I witnessed a waitress waiting for her drinks being poured by staff She actually stood there and REACHED OVER EATING THE FRUIT AND GARNISH WHILE WAITING!!! In this climate of awakening we all lived through with a certain virus where we lost so much it beggars belief that we witnessed that WHATS GOING ON BEHIND THE SCENES Hence smoke & mirrors The Food is well below par for a Five Star Hotel Which actually struggles we feel to reach 3.5 Stars as Barry M Previous review stated !! So apart from a great location ie the beach This Hotel does not reach the standards we feel a 5 star hotel should reach They were having a meeting about adding more British TV Channels A week ago No change yet You will spend more time in your room as Weather is getting bad again So we wouldn’t advise you hold your breath The hotel has in their words spoken to relative departments and this is now being addressed We been offered an upgrade to the Main Building if we would like to return Ahhhh no you’re ok !!! My family and I have just returned from a weeks stay and we have had the best time. I traveled with my sons 7 and 12 and my husband and brother. From the first moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by the hotel receptionist. Our room was a very large size and was absolutely spotless, the adjoining room was perfect for us with having a teenager in toe. The room also had a fridge which was stocked every morning with cokes, fantas, waters and beers etc which was included in the price. Our room was cleaned every day to a really high standard. Every member of staff was so friendly, so hard working and couldn't do enough for their guests. The service we received was outstanding and consistent all week. The food choices were really good for an all inclusive and tasted great. There was even an option to go to three different la carte restaurants on site again included in the price. The house wine was very good and all drinks were branded and lots of cocktail and moocktail options. I would book the la carte restaurants as soon as you arrive though as they get booked up quickly. The indoor pool was great and very well used as we went out of season so it was too cold for the outdoor pool. They aslo had a childrens play area and lots of sporting activities. The hotel is situated right next to lots of markets, shops and cafes etc and a tax rank right opposite. We used the taxi service a few times and they were very reliable and it was a good price. My husband and I used the spa which was fantastic and I would highly recommend the Turkish bath and full body massage. Well worth the money we paid. The hotel is also a beach front and there is a bar where you can order drinks and food to have on beach. The hotel has its own cats so if you love cats this is your hotel. My son even got over his fear of cats and was cuddling them by the end of the holiday. To be honest we are struggling to find anything negative to say about this hotel. We wouldn't hesitate to come back and next time we would like to come in season as I'm sure it would be even more amazing with the sun shining. Thanks so much Paloma Oceana for a perfect holiday.

This was a lovely family summer holiday to Side, Turkey. The highlights for me were the huge pools, the a la carte restaurants and the ease of booking them through WhatsApp with the Reservation Team. They were so helpful and we also booked with them to go to the offsite Water Park, which is fantastic. That’s a 15 minute bus ride away. The waterpark on site has 4 rides and is also good fun for an hour or so. The bars also stock some favourite brands from home that are part of the All Inclusive package. Location is perfect with just a short bus ride away into the Old Town for shopping and superb restaurants, our favourite was Liman, although quite expensive. We also enjoyed Thyma. There is also plenty of shopping and restaurants right outside the front gates of the Hotel, including an indoor Mall, within about a 20 minute walk, with McDonalds for the younger travellers! The Hotel got very busy during our second week and we had to make sure we put towels out by the pool by 7:30 am to secure poolside beds each day. The animation team work very hard especially @Emre, he’s very charming and very willing to offer any advice or help where needed. He works long hours but is always so friendly. In fact all the staff there are lovely and kind and so helpful. On our first morning there, one of the maintenance staff went off to get us pool towels before the towel hut had even opened. The beach is lovely and so many beds to choose from. The evening entertainment is first rate and provided by proper entertainment teams that come in, not just the Hotel’s Animation team! The amphitheatre is also very impressive, but make sure you get the padded seats to sit on! The buffet restaurant was nice, you know what you’re going to get from an All Inclusive buffet, but there was plenty on offer every day and lots being cooked fresh. Not really any themed nights though. The best thing for me was the freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast, sooo nice… and other Hotels we’ve stayed at have usually charged for this. And also a couple of things for me, that were not so good; • Probably not the Hotel’s fault but some of the photos on the Travel Agents website show off some beautiful white Villa’s which have their own pool and bar… but you’re not allowed to go into that Private area if you don’t have a Villa. • The a la carte Steak Restaurant’s charges were very high, so we didn’t bother eating there, we went to the Old Town for steak instead. • The late checkout charges are excessive (EUR80) and the indoor pool was closed when we tried to use it on our last day. Not sure if that was a one-off. • Mini golf was very poor and I only saw 3 people playing it once, in 2 weeks. • Unfortunately the Sports Bar wasn’t open during our visit, so not sure if it is ever open.

We returned home today after a fantastic first time visit to Paloma Oceana. I have to say that reading some reviews did make me question if this was the hotel for us. But went with an open mind and was blown away. First impressions just got better and better. Location is 10 /10, pools and grounds are stunning. Always staff around cleaning and tidying. Pools are spotless and huge. Our favourite was the relaxing pool……so much space and never felt overcrowded. The staff were always happy and smiling and always said a simple hello or good morning. We never had any issues finding something nice to eat. We loved to eat at the beach at lunch…..service is always so quick. The al a cartes were amazing. We ate at them all….the quality of food and the amount of food was something else…..honestly I’ve never seen so much food. Curio was a treat for my husband’s birthday….i messaged guest relations on the app and when we arrived our table was beautifully decorated and they’d made him an amazing cake…..no charge I’ll add. We had a couple of treats at the spa which were unreal…..total luxury and the ladies are so professional, would highly recommend. Outside of hotel is every shop you could possibly need to visit, shopping malls and street upon street full of shops. We did a trip out to the Paloma Aquapark which is the best waterpark we’ve ever visited. So many slides and fun for all the family! So clean and tidy and would definitely recommend it…..made our daughters day! It’s such a shame to read all the silly negative reviews that people leave……honestly some people just get a kick out of moaning! We will definitely return…..we had the best 2 weeks. Well, what can I say, but thank you Paloma Oceana for another amazing holiday. This is the first time we have taken two of our adult children with us, and they were absolutely overwhelmed with how clean the hotel is, how beautiful the grounds are and how hard working the staff are. We all had a fantastic time and found everything to be amazing. This is the tenth time my husband and I have been to this hotel, and we genuinely cannot understand how people can be so horrible about this place. But then we are all entitled to our opinion and ours is of praise and appreciation to this place, and we would not be going back again in October this year if we thought this place wasn’t great. We have seen so many improvements over the years, and met new staff who treated us as well as any other guests. At one point in late June, this hotel had more English guests than German and it was great to hear so many other families enjoying themselves. A special thanks to Melek who works at the piano bar, Mustafa and Ramazan who work in the restaurant for their hard work, dedication and who looked after us so well. We look forward to seeing you all again soon ❤️

We had an unforgettable stay at Paloma Oceana with my husband, and everything was just perfect! The service was outstanding — the staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. We especially loved the à la carte restaurants — the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so pleasant. The hotel truly won our hearts with its lush green territory. The beautiful gardens, palm trees, and flowers created a peaceful and relaxing environment. It was a joy just to walk around and enjoy the nature. Thank you to everyone at Paloma Oceana for making our stay so special. We would gladly come back again!
