Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Our Stay at Monachus Family Resort Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with our recent stay at the Monachus Family Resort. As the owner of a hospitality business myself, I found the experience particularly disappointing from both a personal and professional perspective. Our troubles began even before arriving at the hotel. In the middle of the night, our transfer bus was inexplicably stopped at a roadside shop, far from any town, where we were pressured to buy food and drinks at excessive prices — despite having small children with us who were tired and frightened. Due to the extremely poor arrival and departure times, we effectively lost two full days of our one-week holiday. On top of that, the hotel’s pools were closed for two days during our stay, which led to severe overcrowding around the sunbeds. Since the sea becomes deep very quickly and is therefore not suitable for small children, we were left without any real swimming options — essentially wasting another two days of our vacation. In the restaurants, especially during breakfast and dinner, it was nearly impossible to find a table, particularly in the air-conditioned area. One day, the drink dispenser broke down entirely, and there were no carbonated soft drinks available at all. One evening, we wanted to play mini golf, only to be told that they had run out of balls. Try explaining that to a child who had been excited all day to play mini golf for the first time in his life. The final disappointment came when my child looked up at me and said: *"Dad, next time let's go to a hotel where I can swim every day."* That truly said it all. Given all of the above, I must say that the experience fell far below our expectations, and certainly did not reflect the quality promised. I sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure future guests — especially families — can enjoy the relaxing and well-organized holiday they were promised. I also must mention the incident that occurred this morning. After breakfast, we returned to find that our belongings had been removed from our sunbeds. Our towels and a bag containing my personal items were taken without any prior notice. I find it deeply unacceptable and shocking that hotel staff would unilaterally remove and relocate personal property to the reception area without any permission or warning. This is a serious breach of privacy and respect for guests' belongings. Sincerely, Mosonyi Szabolcs Room 1222
