Hotel Monal

We stayed at Monal for 3 nights and 4 days from 10th to 13th june 2017 for our Honeymoon. It was a good experience with the hotel.Staff was really cooperative and warm. Room and bathroom was clean,spacious and quite. Breakfast and dinner was delicious with a great variety of food . Since we took honeymoon package they decorated our room with flowers and they provided cake ,badam milk and candle light dinner as well.The view outside the room was awesome.It is located at a very convenient place which near to mall road, Hadimba temple, Van vihar, ******* Monastery and Club house. I would like to recommend this hotel for everyone to go there and enjoy your vacations ..

I want a take my family for a trip to Manali for summer vacations. I got Hotel Monal Manali details from Travel agents as I want to book hotel in advance to avoid any last minute troubles. I have gone thru their website to review rooms and location and found very interesting. I have asked my agent to book 2 rooms at the Hotel. We reached the hotel around 4pm and asked to get our rooms ready for check-in. When we entered the room its was completely different from the photos. Towels were not clean. Bed sheet looks like they have never washed after purchase. Floors were not clean. Bathroom was smelly. Spider and mosquito was hanging on the walls. Almirah was damaged. I have no option apart from staying there as I was with my family. In the evening we went to search for a new hotel in the Mall road and luckily got one near to Mall road. We finalized for a next day checkout. The food was worst then a thelewala. I would suggest never book at this hotel.

First off , I made a mistake booking hotel monal through an agent ! Went to Manali on 8th May for a long awaited family holiday .. hoped to have a good time and stay in a nice clean hotel . But what a disaster it was !!! Hotel monal is like a lodge for bachelors not a hotel where families can stay. Cigarettes buds every where, pillows are ridden with fungus, the property is littered with monkey poo, and there is so much trash under the bed !! What was even more shocking was when we decided to change hotels.. the manager Raju and the staff revealed their goondagiri .. harassing ladies and children on the road and not letting us leave. This even after 100% payment was made in full to the hotel by the travel agent! We had to seek police help as the hotel goondas kept misbehaving and harassing women and children :( ! Police had to intervene and warn the hotel owner Chaitanya. All Chaitanya cared about was money and showed no sense of hospitality which is the very essence of any service industry !! Oh what an horrid experience !! We finally moved to New Paramount hotel.the rooms were clean, staff courteous. With the first two days ruined by Hotel Monal, thankfully, New Paramount made the last two days bearable ! PS. Please beware of Hotels like Monal

very nice rooms & good location too. view from room was amazing. big mountains . hotel staff members are very cooperative. ample parking space. food was excellent. Hadimba temple is just on walkable distance from Hotel Monal. value for money.
