Stanbrook Abbey Hotel, Worcester

Went for a couple of nights away for my partners birthday. Afternoon tea was delicious (lots of it!) and the staff were all very attentive. Food was lovely. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Definitely a one-of-a-kind place and from this experience will return here and now use "hand-picked hotels" in future based on this stay.

Our Afternoon Tea was excellent with the most divine food and service. Gorgeous champagne and lovely staff. We highly recommend and look forward to returning. The setting is beautiful and of course and the hotel has a wonderful history to explore.

From right the beginning Meg at reception was so helpful and explained everything clearly. Always with a smile. Then Guy took our bags up to our room and he was all smiles, explaining everything in the room. It was a lovely bedroom with air conditioning. Lots of pillows and cushions. Bed comfortable and inviting. Great toiletries. We were told there would be complimentary champagne but as we don’t drink alcohol we were given alcohol free beer and loads of fruit juice. Staff went out of their way to help this visit be the wonderful visit it was. The grounds are stunning. We had lots to walk around. Sheep came and send hello. They have tried their best to keep the inside of,the hotel the way it was. Much of the original details of the convent have been treated well and any additions and renovations looked after respectfully. Lots of history to see when wandering the hotel. Quite fascinating. The wood, the stairs, the different rooms. Breakfast was fresh and cooked on the spot for you in the lovely Refectory. Service was great, thanks Ellie and Gracie. We had dinner at George’s bar and Lewis, Rob and Kevin were very attentive and looked after us well. All in all a wonderful stay and thanks everyone.

Called in with visiting family for a drink . Staff were so helpful , we wanted a snack but only something small the waiter Tom , went out of his way to get us a cream tea to share , the scones were delicious with homemade jam that was absolutely gorgeous, we went and had a good look around at the abbey and chapel it’s amazing and so interesting and staff were so accommodating didn’t mind us wandering around everywhere.

Our Wedding at Stanbrook Abbey Hotel was an absolutely amazing day. Becca was great in helping us plan the entire day and was only an email or meeting away at each point in the planning process. Ellie was brilliant during our menu tasting and ensured the day itself went as smoothly as possible. All of the staff were really helpful and positive on the day, which set a friendly and very professional tone to welcome our guests. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the day was truly magical. The food and drinks provided for the reception, the five course Wedding Breakfast and the evening buffet were all beautifully presented and delicious. Our Wedding party is still talking about our day with positive memories. Thank you to everyone at Stanbrook Abbey for making our day perfect! We would highly recommend to anyone!

Went for godson's wedding, 2 nights. What a fabulous venue and the grounds are wonderful, relaxing. We arrived on a sunny afternoon but on the departure day we awoke to a frost and the grounds looked beautiful covered in a frost, some good walks to be done. There's evidence of the abbey's history everywhere and a great piano bar/restaurant. A great night's sleep in a perfect room with good layout and space. Staff and service couldn't be faulted, they were so polite and cheery.
