Pyrgos Blue

This was the second time we have visited Pyrgos Blue and it won’t be the last. The hotel has an undeniable charm, that emanates from the warmth of the family. On a practical level, the rooms are beautifully clean, large comfortable beds, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Im sorry I didn’t get the cleaners name but she deserves a mention as she is there from dawn to dusk and works so hard! However, the appeal of the place is not just the stunning views, blue sea wherever you look, sunshine galore… but it’s the way the family make the customers feel so at home. You receive a warm and friendly welcome every day, the same faces.. working so hard yet always greet you with a smile. Manos is the funniest person there, not only has a great sense of humour but also the ability to speak to anyone in their level, and kindly explains things to you about the local area, or food or places of interest. Toula is a wonderful lady, graceful and kind. Helpful and makes delicious food for us. Nothing is too much to ask for, Toula will get it done! Then their adult son and daughter Elena and Vangelis, who both work the bar are also very hard working and helpful, always bringing a sense of calm and peace to the place. The overall ambience is a holiday where you can do as much or as little as you like. I love that it is not a big hotel, full of loud,annoying, drunk Brits…( and I am British by the way) … But instead, it’s a comfortable, peaceful place you can read your books and be left alone. The food is great, lots of restaurants to try close by..I’d recommend Avli and Odas to try. If you are looking for somewhere to chill, where you can find peace and tranquility, look no further. We can’t wait to go back!

Pyrgos Blue is the most stunning and peaceful place I have ever stayed! The rooms are beautifully decorated and scrupulously clean (thank you Rona!) and well-equipped. The sea views, sunrises and sunsets from my balcony took my breath away on a daily basis. The food and drink at the Beach Bar was always delicious, freshly made and top-quality. The location was perfect for me, a 10-minute walk to supermarkets and tavernas, and a 2-minute walk to the beach. There are also some beautiful sand dunes to visit a little further away but easily walkable (Potamos beach). Finally, the warmth of the family who run it, Manos, Tula and Elena, literally blew me away - always a smile (despite it being end of season), nothing was too much trouble. I am definitely going back next year (and probably every subsequent year!!)

We've stayed in Pyrgos Blue hotel for a week. The room where we stayed was suites with terrace and garden view, it was very nice and very well decorated. The bed was large and comfortable, the walk-in shower, the toilet, and they also provides water boiler and nespresso coffee machine in the unit. They also provide basic amenities and beach towel, too. At the pool bar you can also purchase breakfast ala carte. It was all nice and fresh prepared. I'll definitely recommend this place! Ps: the airco also works so well!

Beautiful spot right on the beach with stunning views. Lovely bright rooms. Comfy bed. Waking distance along beach to places to eat and drink and there is also food and drink available at the hotel (very nice juices). Staff are lovely Great location and really nice and chilled place to stay.

I stay in hundreds of hotels with my job and I can honestly say this hotel was one of the best I have ever stayed at. The location is perfect; minutes to the beach, sea views and only a short walk into town with many many restaurants and bars. it even has a useful menu to order food and drinks by the pool. I literally cannot fault it.

This hotel is little gem that everyone needs! The hotel staff were fantastic! They really couldn’t do enough for you! I stayed here for 5 nights with my sister and her husband! Our rooms were on the ground floor, we had everything we required for our stay! They really did think of everything. The rooms were 5 star and cleaned every day. The pool wa a lovely and had sea views all around the complex. We only had breakfast and lunch at the hotel and the food was lovely and great value for money. The drinks were also great value! We would come back from an evening out and have drinks with Milos.. I think he wanted shot of us but all the same he was great company. Tula was great also! Everyone at the hotel was amazing. We cannot wait to come back and will def tell everyone about this great hotel! Thank you again for making our holiday one to remember x
