The stay at evamare hotel & suites was really nice. I think the hotel looks better in real life than in the photos. The rooms are nice and are being cleaned every morning, they also change towels daily, if you toss them on the floor. The walls are quite thin, but that wasn't really a problem to us until the last night of our stay, when someone was talking really loudly on the phone on their balcony from 4am to 8am.. Be prepared that there aren't any "real blankets" there are only bed sheets or like really thin blankets, but it is quite hot at night so you wouldn't actually use the thick one anyway. the pillows are really fluffy and feel brand new. The air conditioner was a bit dusty and definetly needs a good deep cleaning, but it worked well and kept our room at 20°c. The breakfast is nice and they even cook fresh omlette and eggs for you. You can make yourself sandwitches, you can eat cereal or pastries and there is a coffee machine (there is soy milk available seperately -sometimes almond milk also). The dinner has huge portions, there is a starter, main course and a dessert. The starter is already a good size, I would have gotten just that amount every day😅, but the main course is even bigger. I would reccomend getting hb or only breakfast, if you decide to eat lunch then the dinner just doesn't fit in your stomach. I can even imagine how much food i would have wasted if i had gotten the all-inclusive package. The dinner food is similar to home cooked dinner -so nothing fancy, but it can be difficult for picky eaters, although if you are a picky eater you can definetly eat breakfast at evamare. The view from the dinner restaurant is amazing, but they also should have shisha nights on fridays, but when we asked they were out of tobacco or something. The restaurant staff were really nice and there are a few super cute cats living near restaurant area, which we loved🥰 About the area: there is a beach like 200m from the hotel, there are no big waves and the water is super blue, there is also a bar thingy at the beach and you can rent beach beds for 15€ a day, there is also a boat rental there. The closest market is about a 10minute walk away, if you walk ~6 more minutes you can get to a big beach area with many tourist shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. There is a car rent almost in every corner of the town. I really reccomend the fast food place between the market and 4gusto, so its also a 10minute walk away from the hotel. Most of the menu items are huge and only cost 4.60€, we took the pita kebab every time we were there and it was amazing! The week we stayed in Agia Pelagia we only spent under 200€ (per person) for everything, so it's quite affordable there. If you will arrive by transfeer you have to walk down a lot of stairs with your luggage so don't overpack!😂The streets are quite narrow so if you are thinking about renting a car keep that in mind, nothing too bad though. I would say that the hotel would get 7.5/10 from me.
