Breathtaking, this is how we could sum up the stay at the Kihaa resort, a little corner of paradise because the service is incredible. First of all, the welcome is wonderful, upon arrival at the airport, the hotel representative is waiting for us to take care of us and our transfer by domestic flight. Arriving on a neighboring island, another employee greets us, takes care of our luggage and takes us to the speed boat to reach the resort in 5 minutes. Hot towels and cocktail upon arriving on the pontoon, the view, the landscape are as in the photos: just great. We are welcomed by Asim who was available for us from start to finish, very professional, attentive, he did everything to ensure that we had an unforgettable stay. From the waiters, to the shuttle drivers, to the cleaners, the cooks, the bartender, the masseuses and everyone we don't see, they were all smiling, polite and helpful. The room: it was just perfect, nothing to say, consistent with what was sold to us. Beach villa are closed to the beach, around 20 meters, view from the bed make our wake up unforgettable! Even in our dreams, we did not expect to have such a beautiful room: 15 meters of turquoise water, white sand, air conditioning, extra large bed, mini bar, private outdoor bathtub with also 2 showers: the best. The restaurant: it was a great discovery, lots of local and international dishes; cuisine influenced by India and Asia. There is something for every taste. We were treated to a romantic dinner, a massage for 2, a boat trip to see the sunset because it was offered for the honeymoon. The island is clean, very well maintained. To those who criticize: do not compare 5 stars in Europe and 5 stars elsewhere but in any case, we validate this Resort and recommend it because it will remain anchored in our memories. We were able to take wedding photos with the help of Asim whom we warmly thank, we had taken wedding dress and suit; the photos are just sensational! Don't hesitate, go there, you will live a unique experience! Since we had come back, we re thinking every day to taht unique travel, place and wonderfull people who work there. Thanks Kihaa.

Amazing amazing amazing! Don't believe the reviews of non genuine guests who just campaign to get free stuff. They use trip advisor as a weapon. Highly recommended, go see for yourself. It really is a once in a lifetime experience for the family.

This was our second time on Kihaa after 2022 (we've been to 7 islands so far). This has changed: the food is better (was an absolute disaster), but after seven days everything is repeated in the same order. The quality of the food is mediocre. The great beach on the Sunrise side of the island is only half as wide as it was 2 years ago, currents have shifted tons of sand towards the tip of the island, so some sunshades are almost in the water, at the bungalows with pool on this side the water goes right up to the pool at high tide. Some bungalows are therefore no longer usable. Instead, bungalows with a pool have been built right next to the restaurant. The "water bungalows" now sit on the washed up sand, there are no longer any real water bungalows. They are currently abandoned, without windows and doors and need to be completely renovated. It is visually a ruined building, fortunately far away. Kihaa's fantastic pool is losing mosaic tiles by the handful every day. During our stay, entire sections of the various entrances were completely broken off. We can only hope that the management already has a repair date in mind, because soon no guest will be able to enjoy the torn floor. Why we came back: we love the island's mature trees, which provide great shade and are simply necessary in the intense sunshine. The bungalows all offer a great sea view from the bed, each have their own privacy, their own sun loungers and parasol and their own piece of beach (if there aren't ignorant guests who think they have to behave like in Benidorm and steal the cushions from other bungalows themselves). There are small sharks, turtles and even eagle rays snorkeling every day at the edge of the reef and swimming is possible at any time of day (no low tide where you have to walk out forever). Yes, Kihaa is an older island, the furniture is made of dark teak - but to be fair, it has to be said that it is one of the cheaper islands and the old adage "you get what you are paying for" applies. BUT: even if the staff hired from India, Nepal and Bangladesh is super friendly despite working 14-hour shifts every day, the management is still a disaster, which also detracts from the guest experience and therefore also makes us look for a new island: + as soon as you arrive - and before you take your seat in the lobby, you are shooed to the payment point and told to pay the eco-tax immediately and in cash. Is that still possible? This is the welcome after 15-18 hours on the road? No guest comes off the island, why do I have to pay the eco-tax on arrival, but an hour later I can theoretically have a much more expensive jet ski written to my room? + After a week, we were informed that mineral water would no longer be included in the all-inclusive rate but would only be available for a fee. After our complaint, they backtracked after discussion and necessary consultation with the management. The components of the all-inclusive package cannot be canceled unilaterally dur

Wonderful place definitely coming back Once you arrive the staff already prepare fresh towels waiting for you in the jetty A very quickly check in show you around telling me where is the bar water sports center then reaching my room And the marine life here is very good, as I’m traveling along and I’m scared snorkeling along so I booked the turtle snorkeling trip that was amazing, please try Afternoon I try the fish feeding and Monday has the karaoke night seating in front of the bar nice breeze kiss your face, enjoy the karaoke with other guest, feeling relax and fun What a amazing place nice staff like Marko from reception, buggy driver passing by always friendly ask you to take the buggy, bar attendant also very friendly serve your nice drinks Can not forget here and see you next time for sure

This place is very special and beautiful and full of nature The island is accessible 360 degrees and provides great walks The coral reef is seconds away and you can hire a range of water sports to get even closer all free! The accommodation is spacious and good quality but if you’re after 5 star hire the water bungalow- amazing Shahin helped us upgrade- he was so friendly and helpful, a great ambassador for the resort. All the staff were great - always smiling and helpful - every bar had beautiful people. I must mention the dining young team who everyone loved - Yeah Yele Aakanksha karki Sheetal mahara Soniya tamang Because they radiated such joy and love The noodles/ omelette chef was also so charming and accommodating. This island has beauty inside and out that’s why it’s so special. The only problem- mosquitoes- come prepared.

Here's the revised version incorporating your additional request: We stayed for 11 nights in February at a superb resort on the Maldives. It's a lush island offering various categories of bungalows, up to the highest levels of luxury. During our stay, we resided in an Infinity Pool villa, which was excellently maintained with daily cleaning, and the cleanliness was simply superb. We were extremely satisfied with our vacation, and there wasn't a day when we didn't encounter attentive staff. They were always interested in our well-being and fulfilled our special requests. I want to extend my gratitude to the entire hotel staff whose unique personalities contributed to our memorable vacation, and special thanks to Shanin who professionally handled all our affairs during our stay. Postscript: I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates personalized care and attention to detail!!!!

Me & my wife went Kihaa Maldives during mid of Feb at Beach Villa With Private Pool resort (this our first time travel to Maldives), we would say this is supoer excellent our experience in paradise island everything so beautiful, especially their service (may I mention their nam Mr. Zeeshan (private service advisor) & Mr. Suman (Room Boy) also everyone of resort member they are excellent service mind, warm hospitality taking care of us in every signle detail, we was sick during our trip and resort service immediated take action and bring us to met doctor in another island in midel of night time, when we back to resort they also keep follow-up our healt situation very closely until we get much better and ready to relax and enjoy with our vacation in remaining day till the end. Really appreciated for all service peoples of resort member. Kihaa Maldives is real paradise and privatcyมisland not too big and not too small is very suficiency for family or couple to stay as long as they can to enjoy with every single activities (diving, spa, beaching swiming, private pool, photo as much and you can, seaplane view, jetsky, ect.. Heighly recomended for whom looking for very privatecy (not too many peoples) resort facilities is great, service is supper excelence We plan to come back Kihaa again maybe around Jul - Sep this year or next year for sure..!

I will start with the short version - our holiday in the Kihaa Maldives Resort was so fantastic that we directly booked our next trip to Kihaa in March 2024! We have been impressed by the wonderful underwater world (which was the best of our meanwhile 6 Maldives trips at different 5 star resorts), the beauty of the island, and the super friendly and professional service we received during our stay. Only if fine dining is the main purpose of your trip, you will most likely be disappointed - food variety and quality is not even close to what we would expect from a 5 star resort. Food apart, everything else was perfect during our stay. We stayed in a beach villa for the first part of our trip, and moved to a Beach Suite with Infinty Pool later on. While the Beach Villa was already very nice, the Beach Suite with Infinty Pool was simply gorgeous. We enjoyed every single minute staying in it. However, the most important during a Maldives trip is of course the ocean. And what we found here was by far the best we have experienced so far. The house reef is just a few meters away from the beach, and there is a huge variety of marine life. If you are a snorkeler, you can spend hours observing the underwater world at the house reef. But that's not all - just a few minutes by boat you can easily reach Hanifaru Bay, where we were snorkeling together with almost a hundred Manta rays - a once in a lifetime experience. Last but for sure not least we want to mention the professional and exceptionally friendly staff on the island. We want to give our greatest thanks to our room boy Sahel (hopefully I spelled the name correctly). He is by far the best room boy we ever met - our kids still talk about him today. We want to thank Shahin for taking very good care of us during our stay. And there are so many people more - the friendly electricians who repaired our AirCon, the security staff at the jetty with very helpful tips, the attentive restaurant staff, and we never experienced a GM of a hotel who is taking so much care of the guests as Sirko did - one more factor that made our stay so fabulous. We are already looking forward to seeing all of them again soon. Now the Kihaa Maldives Resort only needs to improve in the area of food and everything would simply be perfect.
