I recently stayed at Elaf Ajyad Hotel Makkah, and overall, it was an average experience. Here’s a breakdown: ✅ Pros: • Location: Situated fairly close to the Haram, but the steep uphill walk can be challenging, especially for elderly guests. • 24-hour Front Desk: Staff is available around the clock, which is convenient for late check-ins. • Room Size: The room was spacious enough for a comfortable stay. Final Verdict: Elaf Ajyad Hotel is a budget-friendly option for those looking to stay close to the Haram without paying premium prices. However, the uphill location and outdated facilities may not be ideal for everyone. If you’re looking for basic accommodation and don’t mind the walk, this could work. Otherwise, consider alternatives with better accessibility. Overall I loved our stay in this hotel.

Although the hotel is at a better location, their service is the worst. They have a shuttle service, but it will pick you up halfway up the cliff and drop you off there (you have to walk half way and wait there for more than ten minutes). The staff works very slowly, and the receptionists are rude and disrespectful. The phone service in the hotel room is also non-functional. The carpets are dirty and full of stains , toiletries (check in picture) .I will advise keeping this hotel as the last option if you wish to travel there to fulfill religious obligations with your family . the last photo I provided shows an employee treating customers in a nasty and disrespectful manner.

I had a lovely stay at Elaf Ajyad. The staff were fantastic—so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I originally booked a room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms but was given a triple room instead. Thankfully, the receptionist quickly resolved the issue without much hassle. The room I stayed in was very spacious, which made my stay even more comfortable. The hotel is located on a hill, which might not be ideal for older travellers or anyone with mobility issues. However, they do offer a shuttle service to take you up and down the hill. Just be prepared to wait a little when it comes to pick-ups. While the staff are great, the management system can sometimes be a bit slow, so you might need to be patient or follow up with them. Overall, for the price I paid, it was a great experience. Travelling without any older family members, it worked perfectly for me, and I’d definitely stay here again.

A very good hotel which is near to Haram. The downside is the hilly area. But at least they have a buggy shuttle to bring u down and up to the hotel entrance. On amenities wise, best if the room could be vacummed each time new guest check in. Overall i enjoyed my stay there

Issuing of the Hotel Confirmation Number was too close to the check in day (1 day before) make me worry if then the room was not available when I came. On the check in day, I should waiting until the exact time (16:00) just to communicate with the receptionist

You can not sleep in this hotel, too much noise, dirty, no customer service. Avoid it!

Good and nice place

Hotel only advantage is it is closer to Haram but it's on little higher level and need climbing to reach hotel. Hotel says they have shuttle service but actually not and even after request they didn't start the shuttle and kept on making excuses. At the same time other hotels much closer have round the clock shuttle available for their guests. Also, Hotel house keeping is not good.

Has very difficult uphill location, not suitable for older and sick people.

It was good. The facilities are normally good. Need to put new facilities also.

Terrible experience at the front desk. I was assigned a room that had already been given to another guest. The staff showed no interest in resolving the issue and lacked professionalism and empathy. This was the worst customer service I’ve encountered in Mecca. Would not recommend this hotel.

Nice Hotel with Convenient Location near the Haram. There is a Shuttle Golf cart Service that transport pilgrims to main road near the Entrance of thr Haram. Rooms are Clean and Service is Good but always they can be Better
