The Elk Valley Hideaway is just minutes to the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, less than 5 miles to the Cataloochee Ski Resort, and even closer to Tube World. It is also an easy drive to Cherokee, Harrah’s Casino, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Historic Waynesville is also just a few minutes away. When you first arrive, you’ll find parking for two vehicles. As you step through the front door, the stylish decor and furnishings invite you to make yourself at home. Enjoy the gas log fireplace, big screen tv, and high speed WiFi. This area opens into the kitchen and area, with everything our guests need for cooking and dining. Travel through the living room to the spacious master bedroom with its cozy king size bed to relax and unwind after a long day of hiking or skiing. From this room you can also access the back porch with its outdoor seating and gas grill. Back inside, a second gorgeous bedroom with a queen size bed greets you. There is also a full bath for our guests to share as well as a washer and dryer just off the kitchen. Outside you’ll also find a private fire pit and creek access in the back yard.
