Fergus Club Mallorca Waterpark

I normally do not give great positive feedback, I was amazed with the hotel staff and hotel swimming pools/waterslides. The food was delicious with a variety of salads & non veg options. In my case it was all inclusive for my family and even the drinks were served decently. The seaside was a 5 minutes walk which is a bonus. We went to the seaside after breakfast for a swim and then back for lunch. In the afternoon we were in the hotel swimming pool/ water slides and then dinner in the evening. It is a lovely place for children to be. Everyone looked very happy and enjoying. My kids were in the water from morning until the pool closed. The staff team did their best to make you feel welcome and being helpful. I have noticed some negative feedback reviews and I think it is about individual’s taste and expectations. It is a four star hotel and we can’t have the expectation of a five star hotel. Everyday there were fish, chicken, beef, pork and many other main dishes together with lovely salads and desserts, unlimited soft drinks and alcoholic drinks. Language barrier may have contributed to make us believed that staff are rude. I used translator if the staff didn’t understand my request and it was all sorted as expected. It is a hotel which I definitely would like to go back again for a lovely stay, hopefully it will be a more enjoyable stay than this time.

This is a long one, so strap yourselves in! I want to start by saying, we have had a great holiday at this hotel, we have been here for 10 days, but there are some things you need to know if you're booking... You need to be a Magnus guest, food in the main restaurant is crap, but the Magnus is really nice. It's 100% worth the upgrade, we couldn't have eaten in the main restaurant for 10 days. The drinks are WEAK, I drank sangria in there for 6 days and was fine. We went out one night and I had one sangria and felt drunk, the difference was huge. We are a family of 4 and had a Magnus suite. Room was nice enough and clean, but not enough storage space. For 2 adults and 2 children we had a lot of luggage, and there wasn't enough space. There aren't any drawers. The bathroom floods, the drainage isn't enough for the shower, and when there's four of you showering the bathroom floor looks like a swimming pool. There are only 2 chairs on the balcony, we asked for more but were told no. Meaning we couldn't all sit out on the balcony together. Pool towels.... we paid for the hotel towels at €10 each. One morning we went for breakfast and came back to discover they had been removed. The lady on reception stated that pre 10am if anyone leaves towels for more than 20 mins they will be removed. We have an autistic son and meal times are LONG! A 20 minute breakfast is just not possible. We weren't the only family that this happened to. We did eventually get towels back (after refusing to move from reception until it was resolved). They said there aren't enough beds in the hotel for the amount of people and they rely on only adults using the beds, and people going out for the day. Not good enough really. The slides are great, but they are very strict on height. Our youngest couldn't use any slides, which was frustrating as he can swim and loves slides. The oldest enjoyed them, but still couldn't do the two big slides. The pools are constantly busy, so if you sometimes like somewhere quieter to relax, don't book here. Every pool is a bowl of children soup. The location of the hotel is great, it's really central and you don't feel like you're in Magaluf. The beach front is a 5 min walk away and it's lovely. Things we did whilst here; Pirate Show and Gringo's Bingo are absolutely brilliant, if you're going to do anything, do these! Great for kids and adults. Waterpark was really good, and less strict than the hotel pool. Katmandu, good place, good for the kids, worth the money. Palma Aquarium, good day and a good place to get out of the heat for the day. Overall the Fergus Waterpark Mallorca is a good hotel for families, just small tweaks need to be made.

Staff are amazing especially Laura part of the entertainment playing games with us. It was a really good holiday :-) Bedrooms were all clean and always tidy and even though it is busy the pool is perfect and always plenty of room
