This boutique hotel was perfect for my needs and great value for money. Happy, helpful staff and a clean, well proportioned room. It is very close to the Parque de El Retiro for relaxing walks, the Puerta de Alcalá for nice food and drink and then you can walk up Serrano for quality shopping.

Our recent two-night stay at Petit Palace left me with mixed feelings. While the overall experience was neither outstanding nor disappointing, it fell somewhere in the realm of average. Starting with the hotel staff, their service was okay. Not exceptionally warm or attentive, but they did what was required. The rooms were decent, nothing to write home about. They provided the essentials without any frills which was disappointing for a 4-star hotel. The bedding was comfortable, and the cleanliness was acceptable. However, the decor and furnishings felt a bit outdated, lacking the modern touch that many contemporary travelers might appreciate. One positive aspect was the hotel's proximity to some tourist spots. It was convenient to reach a few key attractions, making it easier to explore the city during our stay.

My husband and I were extremely impressed with our stay at Petit Palace Lealtad Plaza. From the first second we entered Jose on reception was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was outstanding especially with the help of Gabriel and Maria looking after us for our 5 days. Lovely friendly staff and nothing was too much for them. We are looking forward to our next visit.

The staff were very helpful and kind. I enjoyed the atmosphere at this boutique hotel and the location cannot be beat. It is centrally located and walkable to parks, shopping, and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was wonderful — much better than you find at luxury hotels.

The staff was tremendous. Especially Fatima at reception. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Madrid.

Very nice location and walkable distance to many places. A lot of restaurants nearby. Will definitely recommend this place!

The hotel is not a four star, the area where it is located and the architecture are 4 stars the rest is two stars.
The rooms are cleaned from above and you can find hair. The bed sheets are gnawed. The shower head was so filthy that the holes where the water comes out were clogged with lime and had bacteria that is formed by moisture when not cleaned. I had to ask on two different occasions to have it cleaned because it was disgusting how filthy it was. It is the last straw that I had to ask twice, but they charge as if it were a 4 star hotel, they did not make any discount.
To top it off in the four days I stayed at the hotel, every time I came from the street to my room not once did the key work, I always had to go downstairs and ask the front desk to format the cards again.
In short, a disastrous experience.
