Ari Grand Hotel & Spa

When we arrived at the hotel it was small but clean hotel, we were on a half board basis the first evening meal was a bbq but was only sausage and chicken with nothing else available my wife is vegetarian, next morning we went down for breakfast around 8am very minimal choice in hot plates which had no heat underneath them so the food was very cold and this was the case for the other 7 days and in the evening we were served one choice of sometimes a soup then one choice of main course and a tiny piece of sponge for dessert ( the idea of half board is that they provide a buffet choice of hot and cold starters, main courses, vegetables, salad, bread and desserts if you went 15 minutes after they started everything was cold, The staff at the hotel are very young with hardly and training or experience as for example they allowed children to swim in the pool before the opening times and then run all through the hotel soaking wet and sitting all over the furniture and not saying a word, As regards to the senior management or CEO I contacted him to say when our flight arrived and the contact at the airport said that the didn't know if we were coming as the hotel hadn't been informed but I had WhatsApp evidence. We were meant to stay 8 nights at the hotel but due to an early morning flight we had to stay only 7 nights so I spoke to the CEO before leaving uk and he confirmed that we could stay in there sister hotel in Male on the same board basis and price, 3 days before we were due to leave the hotel the receptionist said that I had no booking at there hotel in male and I even shown her the confirmation from the Ceo We had to wait until the evening before we left for them to confirm this and then we left to travel to Male and the disaster continues when we arrived at the airport we went to the desk for the transfer to the hotel only to be told they knew nothing about us after showing them the conversation between me and the ceo finally we got picked up at The airport 1 hour later, then we arrived at the sister hotel and they said we didn't have a booking, so after about 45 mins of waiting we got shown to our room the hotel was like a 1940s new York dodgy apartment we came down to have something to eat only to be told that we where not on a half board basis after complaining to both hotels and the ceo and showing the the conversation between us showing on what he had agreed we ate. The next morning we arranged a transfer to the airport the night porter was fast asleep when I came down and asked about the transfer he said I need to book it for you 15 minutes later we left for the airport. The senior management of the hotel don't care about there guests and everything is a battle. Dhangethi is a lovely island and everyone is so friendly and helpful and it's so safe we had an amazing time apart from the hotels

Hotel staff is very accommodating, offered arrival drinks on the hotel and everyone is super helpful and always smiling. Location is near the beach and walkable to everything including local restaurant. All activities can be coordinated with the hotel staff, breakfast and food preparation is very nice & good.

My husband and I had the most amazing time celebrating our 27th Wedding Anniversary. The majority of our stay was at the Ari Grand Hotel in Dhangehti. This is a great location to watch the sun rise and set. The staff and the food is exceptional. No meal we had, breakfast or dinner disappointed. Our room was clean and spacious. Leaving was emotional as we felt we were leaving family. Ari Grand Hotel, Dhangehti Maldives, you are world class in taking care of your guests. Thank you for being a part of the village that made our celebration memorable.

The location is everything while the staff added excellence to my stay. A very welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. I enjoyed my stay, the food, the activities and this hotel to the fullest ❤️💕 There were a variety of choices for breakfast & dinner, awesome places to relax on and near the property and very clean hotel.

The hotel is nice, probably one of the best ones on the island. It will be even better by the end of the year when the terrace opens upstairs with another restaurant and massage room! The rooms have air-con and a mini fridge, they also offer Netflix which helps if the weather isn’t great (this wasn’t the case for us luckily). Mr Ahmed and his team are extremely helpful and really strive to make the guests feel like this is a home away from home. No ask is too much for them. Dinner was included in our package and had abundant food and a good selection of dishes, including dessert! We loved the BBQ on our second night. They always provide bottled water free of charge. A special thanks also goes to Amin, the snorkelling and scuba guide. He made our time extremely special (we swam with a Whale shark!) and took very good care of me (the less experienced swimmer). We 100% would recommend excursions with him and his #arimoments boat.

Enjoyed stay 100%, thanks for wonderful staff! Very relaxing environment, great food and tours: snorkeling, canoeing, fishing. Rainy season has its own charm to experience nature. My holiday program was modified due the weather conditions very professionally, so I could enjoy it all. Highly recommended all year around!

It was great experience, great service. great food and great rooms. Specially the manager of the hotel Ahmed Alnasri is so much good inside and out. Of course another lady at reception was so kind too. All the staff is amazing. I would like to come again that place for sure:)

I really enjoyed my staying. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was varied. The service was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. PS: very safe place. Even I didn’t use the room lockbox. And it’s very close so the beach.

We stayed at the Ari Grand Hotel on Dhanghethi for 14 days. We were very satisfied. Complete staff with Ahmed on top were very nice, helpful and very friendly. Hotel Ari Grand is very nice and very clean. We had full pension and the food was very good. The room is cleaned every day and we get water and coffee every day and bath towels for the bathroom and beach are changed every other day. The beach is also very nice and about 200m wide.
