Dhonfulhafi Beach View & Spa

We have recently stayed (August) in Dhonfulhafi Beach View in Maalhos with my family for 6 days. 2 adults and 2 teenagers I would like to highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to visit the Maldives in a more authentic way. Let me try to summarise the most relevant points of our stay: - Hotel Staff is absolutely amazing and super kind Haneef supporting us from the very beginning, trying to adequate our needs, trying to make our stay memorable. Always looking for customer satisfaction. 5 stars for him!! Daniela always taking care of us with a big smile Nabil with all meals, excellent prepared and very tasty Abir Hussan in the Housekeeping. We always had our room spotless Mohamed preparing all the amazing daily tours we did Thank you so much to all the Team leaded by Haneef for making us enjoy an unforgettable holidays - We stayed in a family room (4 people) and room was very nice, with very good views and very comfortable beds. - Wifi was excellent. Very good speed all over the place. - We booked Full board and all the meals were very good and very tasty. - Daily tours were absolutely amazing. We visited some picnic islands (Vilingili and Huraafaru), some sandbanks (Angafaru and Royal) and we enjoyed a lot. In all these place you will discover the meaning of paradise - We also did snorkelling with mantas in Hanifaru and we saw more than 100 mantas. Amazing experience - In front of Maalhos there is a desert island (Hibalhidhoo) and you could go there in kayaks (they are free). - Overall Maalhos is a very nice island and sunsets from bikini beach are absolutely gorgeous. In a nutshell a great place to enjoy a pure maldivian holidays!!!

The place is right on the beach, with a great house reef just in front. The room we had was with a nice sea view, large bed and very large and comfortable bathroom. Hanif, the owner, was an exquisite guest, always available to help and provide advice on everything. The restaurant is fantastic, with excellent local recipes. Great diving and snorkelling possibilities nearby!

My holiday started with a nice contact to the owner Haneef, who was very helpful from booking to departure. At the international airport in Male I was picked up to go to the domestic flight check in. After a 30 minutes flight I reached the Dharavandoo Airport where Haneef was already waiting for me and by speedboat we reached after a few minutes Maalhos Harbour. The hotel is located on the opposite side of the harbour but its not more than 500 mtrs to walk. The hotel has 14 rooms, two floors, located direct at the beach. It’s possible to take the meals at the terrace upstairs, protected from wind and rain but also on the beach. I had the room on the second floor which is very clean, functionally furnished with a comfortable bed, wardrobe, shelf, fan, air conditioning. Bathroom with hot water shower, toilet, sink and shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. There is a kettle and coffee or teabags. On the island drinking water is obtained from salt water and it’s always provided in the room in glass bottles. The terrace has small tables, chairs, sunbeds and a great view to the beach and sea, sometimes dolphins are visible. Even if I had some food allergies, they always take care about a great food that I could eat. The service was great. And the dishes were also very tasty. The grilled fish was sensational, also the vegetarian food was very good. A traditional breakfast was offered too. The owner offers boattrips to the uninhabited island with picnic, turtle reef, dolphins, sandbank and more, but sometimes the sea was too rough to go by boat. But those trips we were able to do, were great. I saw many turtles, sharks, and dolphins and more. Even in the house reef, which is direct at the beach, I saw several turtles. You can walk on the long beach, almost go around the island, watch the local people fishing and see a beautiful sunset at the harbour and sunrise at the beach in front of the hotel. The owner Haneef and the manager Inu were always around and very kind, the staff was very friendly. I felt well taken care of and enjoyed the vacation. Also the PCR Test, departure/ transfer was organized very well. The bikini beach is a bit small, which is due to the season, in November was more sand and beach on the other side, it will change in other months. There are a few shops on the island and two coffee shops, where you can eat a snack or meal. There is also a hospital and a school. The people are very friendly. Once they organized a food festival on the beach and guests were welcome to taste the many regional delicacies. It’s a very quiet and beautiful small island. The island has a shipyard where both small speedboats and large freighters are built, all planned by the owner, who only sketches the plans in his head and not drawing the plans on paper. Mosquitos are there, but not too many, mostly in the evening, it’s better to use a protection and something to treat the bites (can be quite itchy). Fortunately, I had no mosquitos in the room.

Отдыхали семьей с двумя детьми (8 лет и 2 года). На данный момент у отеля самое выгодное расположение! Номера с видом на море, шикарный пляж, богатая морская жизнь, можно увидеть всяких рыбок, скатов, черепах, осьминога, морских звезд, мурену, кто заплывал подальше от отеля видел акул. В конце нашего отдыха уже чувствовали себя как дома, привыкли очень к размеренной жизни! Хочу отметить, что за две недели нашего прибывания мы так и не заскучали) еще раз убеждаюсь, что главное - внутренний настрой! Немного о минусах (что вызвало у нас дискомфорт), т.к. о позитивной стороне написано много уже) - На первом этаже номер темный, хоть и два окна, но шторы не откроешь, тк будешь как на ладони, - Несколько раз мылись вечером в холодной воде, не хватает бойлера (правда обещали исправить этот момент после весенней реновации), - Иногда не бывает фруктов, но это как я поняла не отель виноват, а отсутствие фруктов на острове, тк бывают перебои с поставкой. Также мало овощей, совсем нет помидоров, перца, да и огурцы ограничены. - не хватает зонтиков на пляже (тень деревьев нам не совсем подходила, вот ее достаточно). - пляж убирается местными, потому делают это как придется, на песке у воды хорошо, а у кустов грязь, - Уже к нашему отъезду изменили зону питания и стало уютно), спасибо вам Александр, что слушаете и слышите! - Пока остров достаточно уединенный, но в недалеком будущем будет туризм очень развит. Но это кому минус, кому плюс) - Тяжелый переезд на спидбоат, сильно укачивает, но к нему можно подготовиться. И очень хочется заметить, почему-то в одном отзыве на другом сайте, в минусах, отмечено большое наличие русских. Даже обидно стало за всех тех великолепных гостей из России, с которыми мы прожили наши две незабываемые недели! В этом отеле также много и итальянцев, вообще в основном в отеле русские и итальянцы. Так вот русские ведут себя тихо и скромно, в отличие от громких и шумных итальянцев. Видимо особенности нации).

Были с супругой конец января - начало февраля. Долго выбирали остров/гостиницу. Нашли где то здесь отзыв, что владелец русский - и написали. Александр очень подробно все написал с подробными мануалами где куда идти и что делать со скриншотами. Он всегда онлайн :) Бронировали у него, у тур агента получилось на эти же даты дороже на 100к (но немного другой перелет был). Отличный риф (видели, черепах, акул, скатов, лангустов и осьминога (2 последних у причала) всякой мелкой рыбёшки), в 1 км есть не обитаемый остров на который ездили, там просто супер цвет воды и пляж (есть много разных экскурсий и цены в 2-3 раза меньше чем на резортах). Наверное один из самых красивых рифов в атоле Баа так точно. Кстати часть острова занимают джунгли, часто ходил по ним, есть инста-пальма на которой все фоткаются. На острове так же есть банановые пальмы и много много папайи (у местных). Отдых супер, кто хочет посмотреть быт локального остров хороший риф, компанейское отношение и еще много чего хорошего - рекомендую!

Отдыхали на острове семьей с двумя детьми 17 и 10 лет с 8 по 18 ноября 2023 года. В первый раз в жизни решили не покупать пакетный тур, а связались по Whats App с управляющим, Александром ( он сам из России ) на странице отеля. Оказалось все просто и намного дешевле, чем пакет. Согласовали бронь, трансфер от Мале до о. Маалос, такси, купили билеты и вылетели на отдых. Отлично долетели до Мале. При полете над Мальдивским архипелагом поражает вид лазурных островов сверху. Тепло встретили с коктейлями, покормили. Отель новый, около 15 номеров, на берегу океана, с удачной общей верандой на 2 этаже. У нас был номер 8 с видом на океан, по моему, самый удобный в отеле. И все, что полагается на Мальдивах: белый песчаный пляж, джунгли, летающие собаки, дельфины, очень красивый риф с огромным разнообразием рыб, черепахи и вездесущие крабы! Можно бесплатно взять кайяки и поплавать вокруг острова или сплавать на необитаемый, который находится рядом! На практике оказалось, что лучше всего от экваториального солнца защитит легкий балахон, лучше с капюшоном, чтобы не испортить себе отдых от перезагара, так как даже крем +50 слабоэффективен. Некоторые соседи по отелю, которые пытались загорать, сильно обгорали !! Кухня неплохая, тунец, курица, пасты, салаты, фрукты. Здесь не будет такого разнообразия блюд как на резортах, но если вы приехали не гурманить, то все отлично. Персонал отеля очень внимательный и доброжелательный. На острове для местных жителей включают мусульманские песнопения, иногда в 4-30 утра! Нас это не беспокоило. Отдых полный релакс - на пляже максимум 5-7 человек, шум океана, ночью полный звезд небосвод! Восход солнца и закат, это надо видеть. Очень порадовало отсутствие телевизоров в номерах ))! Хотелось бы приехать сюда еще в период мант и китовых акул.

Location con una vista meravigliosa, anche la camera molto carina .. forse ci vorrebbe qualche attenzione in più ai dettagli.. gli asciugamani andrebbero cambiati più spesso, il Menù variato un po di più e magari dare agli ospiti la possibilità di bere o mangiare qualcosa anche fuori orario. E poi l’acqua…con 30 gradi bisognerebbe avere la possibilità di bere molto di più quando si vuole .. a pagamento anche…..ma l’acqua “in dotazione” è everamente molto poca.

Increíble hotel en una isla de ensueño con una isla desierta en frente a 5 min en canoa. Arrecife a pie de playa donde con mis hijos pude ver tortugas,tiburones y morenas,a parte de miles de peces. La atención es maravillosa, nos gestionaron desde España vuelo en hidroavión,ya que solo es un servicio para resorts y ellos nos lo consiguieron. Nos dejaron a mis hijos y a mí una GoPro y cada día nos mandaban las fotos a los moviles. Nos hicieron sentirnos mejor que en casa. Ningún placer mayor que ver anochecer cada día desde su terraza después de un día de buceo. Todas las noches cena a pie de playa con distintas luces sintiendo la orilla y el agua casi a nuestros pies.No se si volveré a las Maldivas,pero si lo hago seguro que repetiré aquí y en el club de buceo que tiene a 100 metros

Отдыхали 12 ночей с 18.06.23 по 30.06.23. Сказочный остров. Прекрасный отель на берегу океана. Теплый прием. Пунктуальность сотрудников отеля при встрече и выезде. Домашняя атмосфера. Персонал отеля очень внимательный и доброжелательный. Всегда дружелюбные и улыбчивые местные жители острова Маалос. В номере все отлично работало: WI-FI, кондиционер, вентилятор. Белый песчаный пляж, джунгли, летающие собаки, дельфины, скаты, очень красивый риф с огромным разнообразием рыб, крабы, рыбалка на катере, незабываемая экскурсия в заповедник ЮНЕСКО к мантам. Отмечали в отеле годовщину свадьбы, были приятно удивлены подарком от отеля в виде торта и созданной романтичной атмосферой праздника. Прощальный ужин также прошёл очень душевно: под шум волн океана при свечах. Сердечно благодарим Александра и Ханифа за проведённое время отдыха на этом райском острове именно в вашем отеле.
