Celtic Haven

What a treat! We arrived after dark so had to let ourselves in and then play ‘hunt the light switches’. When we found them and got light - what a lovely place! Beds were comfy! Morning brought the views … spectacular! Sitting out on the verandah with coffee and breakfast was a daily treat! Furnishing were high quality and comfy - not that we spent much time indoors. We were in The Old Forge. Lovely little walk down to the beach - and loads to do within a few miles! The ladies in the office were friendly and helpful - and knowledgeable about the area (Tyler knew all about the local beer scene too - which we appreciated!) Would thoroughly recommend this as a place to relax and unwind and/or to explore the local area. Value was great - we were in a 4-bed unit so splitting the cost 4ways (or two couples) would have made it so much better than austere hotel rooms or B&B. We got to relax in our own place and alternate between going out to eat and relaxing with a bottle of wine whilst dinner cooked in the fully fitted kitchen (I find cooking relaxing anyway!)

I have been visiting Celtic Haven since I was 8 (almost 20 years!). I have such a nostalgic love for this place and it has not changed at all. I would say some areas are now looking a little tired - the gym, leisure facilities and children’s play area could all do with some investment but the cottages themselves are well kept and gave us a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for trips into nearby Tenby, Folly Farm, Heatherton and Lydstep Beach. We wandered down to Lydstep for sunrise - the 4:50am alarm was worth it, I’d highly recommend! All staff we met during our stay were lovely! It’s a shame the on site restaurant is no longer there and as we went out of peak season weren’t able to try out the restaurant at their partner location. We will definitely be back soon!! ✨

Lovely location, well maintained cottage with an ideal enclosed garden for our dogs. The facilities on site are also brilliant enjoyed playing the Pitch & Putt (more like a mini course as some long holes) nice little swimming pool and the Spa is great, loved our treatments. All round loved our mini break at Celtic Haven and have rebooked.
