This morning I asked to speak to the general manager to discuss this I’ve been waiting over 2 hours now to see her Is this how you treat your guests? ) I’m a guest at your hotel Room 2 I haven’t eaten since Saturday night as I have had severe diarrhoea I’ve taken so much medication & I actually felt a little bit better today & had something to eat Unfortunately when I was in bed I passed wind & the diarrhoea was back & I messed the bed I was so embarrassed as you can imagine I stripped the bed Showered & I went to reception feeling very embarrassed & I asked for new bedding so that I could make my bed I was expecting some polite discretion in the matter but within 5 minutes the receptionist, housekeeping, a waitress & another man were all made aware of my misfortune To make matters worse I was told that there would be a fee that I would have to pay to have the mattress protector cleaned Luckily I have some washing detergent in my suitcase & I washed it myself I got out all of my stains & rinsed it thoroughly I’ve been in the hotel business for 46 years in the U.K. & South Africa as a head chef & Catering manager caring for guests I’ve never made a guest feel uncomfortable like I was made to feel tonight Totally shocked & embarrassed I washed the mattress protector Remade my bed
