The hotel has a change in policy on change of linens. They only change every 4 nights as default. I stayed and enjoyed the hotel many times and will now reconsider.
They have a small little card to inform you. I didn’t read and hence was penalized without housekeeping for 3 nights. I tried to ask for towels and clarify on why not housekeeping every alternate night. Instead the staff was very stern and said it should be my responsibility to read the card. It’s not an accusation but being in the hospitality line, I’d expect more cordial replies than a case on “whose fault”. She replied to say “I’ll provide you the towels this time.” I wonder if she imply to say she will not provide me towels the next round should I forget to ask for housekeeping and asked for towels impromptu….?
I should have known better and will check more options next time.
