a decent place to stay, but I wish the 'Squirrel Pub' opposite would cater more for the travellers, it's a fine Marstons establishment with a good menu, It used to offer morning breakfasts for the travelodge patrons, but despite being told by the Travelodge receptionist that we could have breakfast there we couldn't. The pub said it only provided this service now and then , hugely disappointed.

Clean and comfy with a very helpful gentleman on reception and value for money. Room size good and shower hot. Great over night stay to enjoy ludlow. Pub close and supermarket. Park and Ride 5 minutes walk away. Definitely stay again lots to see and do.

Very nice, clean hotel, looks quite new. Not in The centre of Ludlow, but very conveniently placed just off the ‘A’ road, so great for a stop over.

Good location a few minutes outside Ludlow, around £8 each way in a taxi ( no Uber in the area) very clean and comfortable. Petrol station with shop near by and a quiet pub next door that's great for food,so a really convenient location in lots of ways. Free parking always helps. Will happily stay again if in the area.

We only stayed for one night but have to say it was very pleasant. The room was very clean with good bed linen. It was a decent size room and great that you could warm it up as the weather was a tad chilly. You also don't have to vacate the room until noon, which was good as a lot of places it's between 10 and 11, so this gives you more time to get yourself together in the morning without rushing. For the price I would definitely recommend. The pub next door served very nice food which was handy.

A comfortable and clean hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Great place to be based for Ludlow town and for exploring southern Shropshire, Herefordshire and Hay-On-Wye. Perfect place for a weekend break or a few days when you will be out and about. Pleasant restaurant for dinner right next door.

We slept very well. Close to bakery, pub & garage. A list of local food delivery options was provided. We went to the Godfather & our portion of chips was enough to feed at least 3. Nice bakery opposite. Fantastic Sunday dinner at The Queens public house

The staff are lovely. Particularly Trevor, who dealt amazingly well with the fact that room keys weren’t working. Also a mention for Jo. Both really welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is what you would expect - no frills, but clean and functional - very good value for money particularly as accommodation in Ludlow can be very expensive. It’s around a 20 minute walk into town, but you can drive and park there (car parks are reasonably priced).

Very convenient for Ludlow ! Easy drive as on A49 Parking free Straight road walking into Ludlow - takes 20mins tea Lovely staff especially Zoe on reception. Opposite a beautiful bakery and has a CoOp and garage opposite Nice pub next door too All in all - fabulous !
