Palazzo Tucci Residenza d'Epoca

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The positives are the staff who are lovely and helpful, and the perfect location. There is a lift which is helpful since it is about 30 steps up to reception which can be difficult with luggage. This is an elegant, very old palazzo still run by the family. I will say that I was the only guest so it felt a bit eerie. It didn't help that it was pouring rain during most of my stay. You enter the building into a very cold, unwelcoming inner courtyard. Dingy flooring and dusty old fake floral centerpiece. Since its a first impression, think the courtyard could be freshened up with a new coat of paint and some fresh decorative touches. It would make a world of difference. That said, once you enter the actual hotel, it is very pretty with frescoes and paintings on the ceilings and walls. Rooms are spacious. There are minor fixes needed. Towels were clearly laundered but mine were tired and spotted. Bed was very comfortable with crisp linens. As a solo female guest, it was a little creepy entering the courtyard at night although Lucca is safe. The reception is not staffed 24 hours. I don't know if I would stay there again but would be good for families since the spaces are huge.

Truly a unique fantastical experience. If you are ever wondered what it might be like to stay in a old palace, this is the place. Cavernous rooms huge paintings on wall, and well, a palatial feeling. No it's not a huge buffet fir breakfast and feeling like a Hilton, but that's the best part. It's right in the city, parking on site and lovely host who's family has owned the palace for 900 years. And very reasonable price. It can be spooky at night for the kids, but it's not an issue, adds to the mystique.

abbiamo pernottamento qui per una sola notte , il personale è molto gentile ma la stanza che ci hanno dato aveva dei condizionatori molto rumorosi , per provare a dormire l ho dovuto spegnere ma poi faceva caldo ... morale della favola notte insonne a 250 euro

Ottima posizione in una via centralissima, comoda a tutto, con atmosfera e comodità. Il nostro appartamento era molto grande,spazioso, arredato con gusto senza ostentazione. Tutto molto pulito. Personale gentile e disponibile. Sicuramente apprezzabile il parcheggio interno. Non abbiamo potuto usufruire della colazione per questioni di orario ma la sala in cui veniva servita era molto bella e da un’occhiata frettolosa il buffet sembrava molto ben fornito

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo meraviglioso palazzo, la stanza suite era incantevole, grandissima, pulita, e grandiosamente storica, il prezzo corretto! Personale molto cordiale e disponibile, posto auto interno molto comodo, unica voce da migliorare e la colazione anche se non disprezzabile, ma sicuramente migliorabile con prodotti e brioche non confezionate, magari prodotti del territorio, in ogni caso torneremo molto molto volentieri! in centro a due passi da piazza anfiteatro, il palazzo ristrutturato e' sede di poche ma bellissime camere con dipinti e arredamento d'epoca ma non manca di niente di moderno ed efficiente, servizio eccellente da parte dello stesso proprietario che e' un marchese , colazione un po' spartana ma buona
