South Lodge

We had a great time at the South Lodge Hotel, were able to use the spa area for the first time and were thrilled with the indoor and outdoor facilities. The staff served us in all areas with exceptional joy and enthusiasm, which I have never experienced in any hotel before. Our dinner in the Pass Restaurant was also an extraordinary journey. please keep it that way. We were also served first-class dishes and service in the Camilia restaurant. I wish it didn't end. I can only recommend the hotel highly, regardless of whether it is for business purposes, leisure, a wedding or an event. Many thanks to every single person in the hotel who worked in their area of ​​responsibility.

We stayed with a group of friends while attending Goodwood Revival (classic car festival) close by. The hotel has huge charm and character and has benefited from major upgrades in recent years. The staff were lovely and friendly as well as attentive- a special mention to Cedric in the bar and Matthew in the restaurant. The Spa Center (completed in 2019) is nothing short of spectacular. While exploring the hotel I noted that they have an excellent event/conference/wedding area too at a separate end of the hotel.

Such a beautiful hotel and spa which just effortlessly provided a very luxurious and calming stay. It’s a touch above a lot of hotels we have stayed at. Lovely rooms. Very nice service. Although we loved our room, we did ask to move as was right above a wedding. They did move us to a bigger room without charging us and provided me with a lovely hand written card and chocolates as I was celebrating my birthday. The food in the restaurant was lovely - tasty and beautiful to look at with efficient service. The staff were very knowledgeable about the wines. Breakfast was table service and was attentive and first rate. The flowers and landscaping were immaculate. Lastly the spa was so clean and relaxing. Lots of chairs to sit around the pool. The changing rooms were really lovely with Dyson hairdryers and hair straighteners. I would have loved to see bodylotion available but being really picky! Thank you South Lodge. We will return

This hotel is just perfect. The Spa is next level and clean with such beautiful decor. They have such wonderful rooms and the room service menu including the pillow menu is such luxury. The staff there are always kind and professional and seem happy to work there which makes it even more special. Cannot wait for my next visit.

Stayed at South Lodge in Marazine Blue room . Stunning views of the Downs and gardens . Luxurious bathroom with TV at the foot of my bath. Had a treatment booked at the spa a lovely hour and twenty rejuvenating facial . Products smelt amazing and felt thoroughly pampered . Had a meal with family in Camillia delicious from start to finish . The sommelier Dom recommended some perfect wine pairings for our meal . The Dorset crab was amazing as was the venison . Thoroughly recommend the truffle mash and the chocolate caramel fondant for dessert . Food is locally sourced and the highest quality . Slept well and enjoyed a perfect breakfast . For relaxation and to feel spoilt by staff that really care book a weekend here . I look forward to returning .
