Louisville Bourbon Inn

Pinch me am I dreaming????? We got to experience a Louisville Bourbon Inn Wonderland!! It snowed throughout our trip but that added to the charm and experience of the inn and we werent mad about it! Allen was so accomodating and a real angel he made our brief stay feel like we rested a full week!! The breakfast here is top tier with Allan in the kitchen you know you'll be getting something good, he is a secret 5 star restaurant chef if you ask me even though he is very demure about it. Listen, please visit the bourban inn you won't be dissapointed there is so much beauty to see in this Victorian Mansion it can be enjoyed any time of the year! So happy we chose this place and we can't wait to be back this time with more family and friends we will be fans for life!!

The Louisville Bourbon Inn is like a Hallmark movie experience. I was so in love with the home, room and overall the experience Allen gave my sister and I. Allen was so kind and he really cared that we had a great experience. Including cooking delicious food. He went above and beyond to help our vacation be truly amazing. ＜33 Thank you so much Allen!

Bourbon Inn is simply amazing !! Took a day trip from Cincinnati. Jeff provided amazing hospitality before check- in and throughout my stay!! Charming beautiful rooms with great views of the neighborhood from 3rd floor room. The space offers a balance is luxury and comfort. Less than a 15 min drive downtown restaurants , galleries and museums. I enjoyed visiting the Roots 101, 21c and eating a Mussles & Burgers. As for breakfast the biscuits and gravy were the best I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to stay again!!

Everything was decorated for Christmas and it was gorgeous and so clean. Allen put a wonderful breakfast out for both mornings of our stay and took several group pictures for us. It was my first stay at a bed and breakfast but I cannot imagine it being topped!

First time to a B&B and the bar is set so high, I can’t imagine staying at a different one! Allen is the most amazing host and chef! The home is beautiful and you feel so comfortable there! All of the rooms are unique and have their own on suite. We will definitely return!

Sometimes a moment is so perfect, it’s difficult to find the words to even begin to express it. We were married at the Louisville Bourbon Inn at the end of October 2024 and the whole experience was nothing short of magical. This review will be long, so here’s the bottom-line up front: You can feel 100% confident trusting the team at the Louisville Bourbon Inn with your wedding. They will absolutely spoil you and every one of your guests and give you an utterly unforgettable event. We promise, your family and friends will rave about the experience for weeks after – ours did!! We live in Iowa but planned our wedding in Kentucky to make it easier for family to attend. We knew we wanted a small event (~30 people) and we needed it to be all-inclusive so we weren’t running crazy chasing vendors. We wanted to enjoy the process as well as the Big Day! We visited three different bed and breakfasts with all-inclusive packages in the Louisville area…but, if we’re being honest, we didn’t need to visit the other two. The Louisville Bourbon Inn was love at first sight. The mansion is the epitome of stately Old Louisville on the outside, yet warm and welcoming inside…seamlessly merging a high-end vibe with absolute comfort. That spiral staircase in the foyer was practically made for a bride to descend. The high ceilings, glorious windows, and gleaming woodwork on the first floor were the perfect backdrop for an intimate “I do.” We melted into the comfy chairs in the sun-soaked living room as we talked details with Allen. It felt like being home. Of course, we had out of town guests sharing the weekend with us as well. The guest suites at the Inn are nothing short of incredible. The beds are amazingly comfortable, somehow firm and soft in perfect balance. The team has also sourced the absolute softest, most luxurious sheets you’ll ever sleep on. The suites have 1880’s old world charm, but with all the little modern conveniences that take a stay over the top: fantastic showers/water pressure, outlets in all the right places, a steamer in each room, a noise machine to provide a calming sleep soundtrack, and fans to move the air conditioning around on a warm day. We gave our kids the run of the Carriage House: three more comfortable suites and a lounge space, located just across the garden from the main house. The mansion is beautiful, but it was the team that made our wedding special. From the moment we first walked in the door, Allen’s warmth and graciousness sold us. We happened to have our first meeting during the check-out hour, and we watched guest after guest stop by to give Allen a final hug before they went on their way – and we understood why! Allen has a passion for his work that infuses his cocktails and his food. His signature Old Fashioned is crave-worthy.
