Middle Flass Lodge

We found the lodge very comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast. However we were expecting an evening meal but we were not informed that it was necessary to book this in advance. As a consequence it was necessary to drive to the nearest village to eat which was disappointing.

Joan Nigel and Lucy are welcoming and friendly. The guest house is absolutely spotless throughout and Nigel is an amazing chef. Dinner needs to be pre-booked and not cheap…but worth every penny. Breakfast to die for. Several complaints in reviews about weight gain due to the tempting menus!! It’s nice that Middle Floss isn’t modern: they’ve found a formula that works and have stuck with it. We will definitely visit and stay again: it’s a beautiful part of the world and very, very peaceful. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Excellent place very friendly hosts. They don't do bar snacks but one of our party was ill and Nigel made us sandwiched and the best chips ever. Very friendly and attentive

This was a return visit that was a long time coming. It was every bit as lovely as last time. Joan and Nigel were great hosts. The room was cosy and comfortable and the food, yet again, fantastic. We won't leave it so long 'til next time.

We booked in advance as they were welcoming to cyclists and were able to store our bikes well overnight. We had a really pleasant stay. We had a wonderful evening meal. The menu gave many options and although a tad more expensive than we usually pay it was well worth it. I'd really recommend the three course meal with coffee and mints to finish in the lounge. A guest house with a lot of soul. Very glad to have visited. Was looked after on all fronts.
