Very disappointed with the resort in many ways, as a loyal Bonvoy member for over 10 years, I decided to try the Vacation program. The arrival was nice, very professional, all was good until I woke up with bites all over my left side of my body, from my arm across my back. When I reported the incident, they fumigated the room and told me it was ok for me to come back inside the same room. The next morning, I woke up with more bites, but this time on my right side, same pattern (from hand to lower back). After that, I was finally moved to another room. Did I get any compensation for the incident? No, they ignored me after I completed the vacation briefing and declined to buy. Even after returning home, the Marriott Vacation Club treated me as if I made up these claims; that's why I included the pics. I would not stay there ever again. Not worth the days of bites and itch. Food was decent, waiters and bartending staff were on their game, bell boys were very efficient and always had a great positive attitude.
