Great warm welcome and fantastic value for money. The breakfast kept me going all day !!

Excellent little bnb. A lovely room above the cafe, very comfortble and well appointed. Great breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff.

I arrived after 5 pm in the dark and rain. I parked on the main road and went to the B and B. The cafe was closed and so the doors were locked. There were instructions to ring the owner and he came down to let me in and show me to my room. There was a For Sale sign up so I imagine the owner wants to retire. I had booked the Burgandy Room with a Four Poster but got the Black and White Room. It was a good sized room with a very large double and a single. Good bathroom and towels plus a pack of toiletries. TV, large free standing fan with remote, dressing gown and slippers in a wardrobe. Slight *******: no cups so I couldn't use the tea/coffee. I could have asked of course. Various items of ladies clothing in a bedside drawer. A bulb had gone in a bedside light and the other wasn't plugged in. I prefer brighter bedside lights so I can read. The LED lights in the bathroom mirror didn't work. Lastly there were no instructions on how to connect to the WiFi. I had the keys to the front door so I could come and go. I had a good night's sleep. The next morning I came down to an excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Plenty of options. The owner was very pleasant and the stay was excellent value for money.

Really nice. Excellent breakfast , clean, comfortable room, lovely staff. Room was well equipped with toiletries and hot drinks.

Great place, friendly host, spacious room with lots of extras. Breakfast - lots of choice and was excellent. Everyone in the village I met was super friendly. Free and easy parking at the front or round the corner.

Very nice room and hospitality. There was an apology as the central heating had failed and the plumber 'was on his way' It did not matter as the room is above the properties' bakery. As for food, no evening meals but the hotel 5 minutes walk along the high street provides very nice food and serviced but the breakfast was adequate to last the very hungry person all day!

The best room I've stayed in. The bed is super comfy. Bathroom with bath and shower. Everything was clean and comfortable throughout. Friendly and welcoming upon arrival through to checkout. Breakfast there is a good choice on the menu. Choice of Cereals and fruit juice to start followed by a cooked breakfast. All great quality and tasted great. Highly recommended and will definitely be staying here again.

The room exceeded expectations. After a very good night's sleep, there was breakfast to look forward to, as the cafe was said to have "the best bacon roll in the area" on the internet, and how true it was, based on the full English: great produce and the bacon was most yummy!
