Pros: I liked my cute little room, which felt like a tiny studio apar**ent. I found the check-in process to be really easy, despite what the reviews said. Just follow instructions! It was also very walkable and the Thai restaurant downstairs gives you a discount if you're staying at the hotel!
Cons: I knew it was coming because of the reviews, but the noise from the bars downstairs was super loud. I brought ear plugs in preparation, but on Friday and Saturdays it's pretty nuts. I stayed 5 nights and those were the loudest nights. I also got a monster spider bite that required me to go to urgent care. I can't blame the hotel for this because spiders exist in the world, but I woke up the second day with it and it just grew from there. I can't help but feel a little sneezed out by it.
Another thing that made me uneasy is that there's no locks on the door other than the main key card lock. No deadbolts, chain locks, etc. I'm sure it's fine, but I'm used to being able to lock the door from the inside in a hotel.
They do charge a lot for parking, which I didn't know, but it's probably worth it for drivers because it's super hard to park on the street.
